    • A kit to be used for medical treatment is disclosed. The kit comprises a plurality of pen needles (5) adapted for giving an injection to a patient, such as insulin, and a compartment adapted to contain and provide said plurality of pen needles. Each pen needle comprises a distinctive mark, such as a distinctive colour, for being distinguished from at least one other pen needle of the kit having a different distinctive mark. The patient selects the desired pen needle in function of the distinctive mark. A tattoo assembly is also disclosed. It can be used with the marked pen needles (10) as it comprises a plurality of guiding non-permanent tattoos adapted to be affixed on a body injection site of the patient and have a distinctive mark, colour and/or shape to assist the patient in selecting a given body injection site. Different methods for auto-treatment of diabetes are also disclosed.

    • An apparatus for cleaning and/or sterilizing sand filter is provided. The apparatus comprises at least one sand filter but preferably a plurality. The apparatus generally comprises a clean water pipe circuit and a backwash water pipe circuit. Preferably connected to the backwash water pipe circuit is a cleaning and/or sterilizing means provider. On a regular basis and/or when it is detected that the efficiency of the filter has decreased below a certain threshold, cleaning and/or sterilizing means are added to the backwash water in order to remove unwanted particles, bacteria, oils and/or greases, metal deposits and the like that previous simple backwashes failed to remove. A method for using the apparatus thereof is also provided.

    • An exoskeleton designed to be worn by a user is generally configured to support and transfer the load supported by the head, the neck and/or the torso (shoulders, chest and/or back) of the user down to the ground. The exoskeleton is generally passive and comprises at least three interconnected sections: torso, hip, and leg sections. Each of the sections generally comprises of a plurality of interconnected rigid members which form the load-bearing structure of the exoskeleton. When a user wears the exoskeleton, load normally carried by the head, neck and/or torso of the user is at least partially supported and transferred to the ground by the exoskeleton, thereby reducing the load effectively supported by the user itself. The leg sections of the exoskeleton are designed to ensure that the load-bearing final location is located on the inner side of the feet, in accordance with human biomechanics.
