摘要： A gate hinge for a preferably wooden post which includes an L-shaped rod threaded on one leg with a metal strap rigidly connected to the threaded leg at about one and one half inches from the elbow of the rod on the threaded leg. The metal strap extends six or so inches form each side of the L-shaped rod with two or more holes near each end of the strap. The L-shaped rod is threaded into the post until the metal strap contacts the post. Then each leg of the metal bracket is bent around the post and screws or lag bolts are threaded through the holes and into the post to help secure the hinge to the post and to provide added support for the gate.

摘要： A header containing a multi-toothed tab forming a series of ratchets formed therein cooperatively engages a lanced section extending across the web of the cross section and depressed toward the inside of the cross section a selected depth that is greater than the tab thickness. One edge of the lanced and formed surface is formed with an upturned lip that functions as a pawl for the ratchets on the tab. Insertion of the tab into the lanced section of the receiver, each ratchet will be forced over the paw of the lanced section. The lanced section acts as a spring to allow the ratchet to pass over the paw and then pop back to its previous location ready to be flexed again for the next ratchet.The header includes a longitudinal channel having a base channel and upwardly extending channel sidewalls and a pair of spaced apart aligned longitudinal reinforcement ribs extending along said longitudinal channel base. The channel sidewalls including a pair of inwardly projecting longitudinal shoulders spaced apart from and aligned with the reinforcement ribs. The longitudinal channel member include a first male end including a tab with two lateral half tangs for cooperatively engaging an opposing channel receiver including two lateral lanced portions forming inwardly raised transverse flanges on either side of said channel base, each with an upwardly projecting lip for cooperative engagement with the two tangs disposed on the tab surface of the opposing distal end of the longitudinal channel member. The channel receiver has two inwardly extending dimples which cooperatively engage an inwardly canted end portion of the tab to maintain engagement of the tangs with said upwardly projecting lips.

摘要： This invention relates generally to a conveyor assembly for separating and aligning parcels, packages, bags and other articles prior to processing with a singulator. The stepped wall assembly includes a low friction conveying surface having both forward and lateral conveying forces for moving articles toward a lateral sidewall and a downstream conveyor. A series of offsets disposed between straight and diverging sidewalls force parcels toward the center of the conveyor against the lateral forces of the low friction conveying surface gradually separating and converging the parcels toward a selected sidewall of the conveyor and in line with a singulator apparatus.

摘要： A filter for separating contaminants from fluids. The filter includes stages of differing materials arranged one after another wherein the first stage blocks and captures contaminants of a selected size and passes everything smaller than this selected size. The next stage captures contaminants of a selected size which is smaller than those blocked by the first stage. The subsequent stages capture smaller and smaller contaminants. The layers comprise various materials including stranded meshes, fibrous tissues, metallic screens and ceramic discs and tubes. Some of the ceramic discs and tubes include a downstream coating to capture further contaminants such as water droplets.

Two of more small items abreast of one another are separated while permitting large items to pass thorough the singulator even when the item is a large bag of small items. A first conveyor lane includes a high friction surface for conveying articles forward along a vertical side wall. A second conveyor adjacent thereto has a low friction surface including both forward and lateral conveying forces urging parcels forward and away from the first conveyor and side wall toward a third conveyor having a high friction conveying surface wherein the longitudinal edge of the second conveyor is below the first conveyor and above the third conveyor.
