摘要： A device installable into a tap to detect the presence of one or more types of contaminants in the tap water. When the tap is operated, a sample chamber fills with the tap water, such that one or more electronic receivers are capable of detecting the presence of contaminants. Preferably, at least one of the one or more electronic receivers is a photometric sensor for detecting absorption of ultraviolet (UV) light in the 250 nm to 300 nm range. A UV254 LED can be activated when water fills the sample chamber, and a measurement circuit calculates Total Organic Carbon (TOC) by correlation with UV254 absorbance. The device can transmit contamination data, including, but not limited to TOC levels, to a remote apparatus for remote monitoring of the tap water.

The algorithm may use the temperature data also. The device includes an option to transfer data onto a smart phone or similar device. The device is suitable for predicting ovulation of any mammal, including human beings, dogs and livestock including horses.

摘要： A wall-mounted, vertical holder, organizer and dispenser for pet waste bag rolls. Pet waste bag rolls come in standardized sizes wound about a spool, each bag separated from the next by a serrated transversal line. These rolls can be fed horizontally from the top of the dispenser to remain held and organized in the dispenser in a stacked configuration. The dispenser facilitates a bag being separated from the bottom-most roll, pulled through a wedge and chute located near the base on the front of the dispenser, and torn off for use without dislodging the bags from the dispenser or the dispenser from the wall. The wedge holds the next bag in the chute, ready for next use.
