    • A tool for cutting drywall bead that has a shaped cross section and requires cutting to length with both straight and angled cuts. The tool includes a base with a first handle attached thereto and a second handle pivotably attached to the base, and a blade with a cutting edge movably engages the base. An anvil pivotably attaches to the base and may be rotated to a chosen angle relative to the blade, and the anvil has a shaped upper surface which complimentarily engages the shaped cross section of the drywall bead. A mechanical linkage forces the cutting edge of the blade towards the anvil when the second handle is biased towards the first handle such that a drywall bead positioned over the anvil is cut at a desired angle.

    • A water treatment system for reducing the level of bacteria in a flow of water by creating an environment favorable for aerobic bacteria and unfavorable for anaerobic bacteria is disclosed. The system may include a method including intaking a flow of water, lowering a pH level of the flow of water to a predetermined range of pH levels, and adding sodium chlorite to the flow of water after lowering the pH level to the predetermined range of pH levels for producing chlorine dioxide. The sodium chlorite is added in an amount sufficient to produce a residual amount of sodium chlorite that does not produce chlorine dioxide, and the flow of water is outputted to the point of use with a residual amount of chlorine dioxide. The system may include an apparatus for carrying out the method of the invention.

    • A system and device of sliding panels contained in a frame that allows the panels to be stored in one part of the frame and moved to different parts when in use. Panels slide along horizontally and vertically within the frame so that various alternate placement of panels can close the frame, or create openings of different sizes, shapes and locations within the frame. The panels within this system can be used to enclose a vehicle or structure; to protect the interior of the structure and its occupants from inclement weather; miscellaneous intrusions such as insects, dirt and the like; as well as from firearm, chemical, and biological assault. The panels can be readily changed to accommodate to these needs by substituting a panel made of an appropriate material. If the panel system is used in modular form, even panel walls of buildings can be rapidly constructed. The device also can be used for a multi-panel display device.
