    • A system for strain relieving intravenous (IV) assembly includes a dressing and an anchor portion for use with the dressing. In various embodiments, the dressing may cover an injection site into a portion of a patient's body for an intravenous (IV) assembly that provides fluid communication between the injection site and a fluid reservoir remote from the injection site through a flexible tube. In an illustrative example, the anchor portion may include a first member and a second member. The first member may be secured, for example, to the dressing and may, in some examples, wrap around the tubing so as to resist axial movement of the tubing relative to the dressing. The second member may be secured to the dressing and may wrap around the tubing and a portion of the patient's body so as to resist radial movement of the tubing relative to the body.

    • Apparatus and associated methods involve thrust generation by interaction of an armature field with a stator field in an arrangement with substantially reduced flux coupling from the armature to the stator coil. In an illustrative example, solenoid coil segments may be arranged as the stator along a path of motion for the armature. In some examples, each armature may surround and overlap with at least one of the toroidal coil segments. Counter-electromotive force may be substantially reduced, for example, by stopping current flow in a stator coil while overlapped by the armature or while substantial armature flux couples to the stator coil. Thrust may be generated, in some examples, by interaction of armature and stator coil flux in arc-shaped regions external to and between each of the leading and trailing edges of the armature and their respective nearby stator coils.

    • Apparatus and associated methods relate to an endless-track drive wheel having axially-projecting roller cogs circumferentially distributed, the cogs configured to engage a lugged inner surface of an endless track at a radial distance from a wheel axis greater than a wheel radius. In an illustrative embodiment, an exemplary drive wheel may have cogs axially projecting from two opposing faces of the drive wheel. In some embodiments, each cog may include a roller bearing or bushing annularly coupled to a center post. In some embodiments, the cogs on each face may be periodically distributed at a radial distance from the axis of the drive wheel. The endless track may have a series of track lugs projecting from an interior surface. In some embodiments, the track lugs may be periodically arranged along the track to have a pitch corresponding to the pitch of the drive-wheel cogs. In some embodiments, the roller bearings may advantageously provide low-resistance drive coupling to the track.

    • Apparatus and associated methods relate to displacement-independent remote adjustable coupling of a first suspension member to a second suspension member. In an illustrative embodiment, the first suspension member may move substantially independently of any motion of the second suspension member, when in an uncoupled state. When in a coupled state, for example, the first suspension member may move in response to movement of the second suspension member. In some embodiments, the coupling between members may be performed by removing and/or stiffening one or more degrees of motion of the suspension system. For example, in some systems, a variable shock absorber may be stiffened in response to a control system signal. A remotely coupled suspension system may advantageously provide optimal suspension configuration for various riding conditions.

Still another embodiment may have both positive and negative topographical features on the outsole. In accordance with one exemplary embodiment, the reflective coating may include glass beads in an elastic polymer base.
