SOLUTION: The retaining assembly includes a rotary knob which is interlocked with an engine chassis 14, a clutch cover 30 and a guide bar 20 of the chain saw. Further, the rotary knob can rotate centering around a rotating shaft between a tightening position for retaining the guide bar 20 in a regular spot and a loosening position for enabling an operation to regulate the tension of the saw chain to be performed by changing the position of the guide bar 20. In addition, the rotary performance of the knob can be achieved by locking and unlocking the knob through an installed locking mechanism. When the locking mechanism is set to a locking position, the movable engagement point of the locking mechanism extending beyond the region of the knob engages with a fixed engagement point. When the locking mechanism is set to an unlocking position, the movable engagement point which recedes into the region of the knob is disengaged with the fixed engagement point.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power tool having a break system minimizing a time required to stop a cutting blade. SOLUTION: This break system has a roller bearing clutch mechanism comprising combined protrudent stop pins. A stop pin 50 is set at the end of a cable assembly 32. One end of the cable assembly is connected with a trigger through a lever and the other end is connected with a gear box inserted with the stop pin and a return spring 58. When the trigger is set at the release position, the stop pin is perfectly connected with a protrudent stopper part of a bearing cage above a driving assembly. The return spring 58 energizes the stop pin so that the pin is set at the release position.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a four-cycle engine for maintaining the lubrication of engine parts while reducing the number of components.
      SOLUTION: The four-cycle engine uses the vibration of the engine for lubricating the engine parts. The vibration of the engine generates waves on the surface of oil in an oil reservoir arranged in a crank case of the engine. The waves of the oil atomize the oil to lubricate the exposed engine parts. The wall thickness of the crank case is about 1.5mm or smaller, thereby increasing the vibration of the engine. In another embodiment, a gap region arranged in the crank case is reduced to promote the contact of the oil surface waves with a counterweight, thus permitting the splash of oil on the exposed engine parts. The vibration of the engine can be further increased by connecting a vibration plate or a spring to part of the crank case.
