    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a one-way clutch with a torque limiter that achieves high braking effect in spite of a relatively small occupied space.SOLUTION: The one-way clutch includes: an inner ring 1 arranged on a drive shaft; a plurality of split outer rings 3a, 3b axially juxtaposed spaced apart from each other; and a plurality of cam bodies 2a, 2b respectively arranged in annular clearances between the inner ring and the outer rings. Friction surfaces 13a, 13b are provided on the radially extending end surfaces of the split outer rings 3a, 3b. The friction surfaces are configured to be axially brought into contact with and frictionally locked to corresponding friction discs 25, 26. The friction discs 25, 26 are unrotatable and at least partially supported to be axially slidable. Another friction disc 24, unrotatable and supported to be axially slidable, is arranged in an annular clearance between the split outer rings 3a, 3b. All of the split outer rings 3a, 3b and the friction discs 24, 25, and 26 are axially brought into contact with each other and can be frictionally locked to each other.

    • PURPOSE: To maintain a function even for a high torque by limiting relative rotation with the use of a stopper where relative-rotating members hit each other and then allowing the relative rotation amount to correspond to maximum allowable material strength of a measurement device. CONSTITUTION: In order that slits 4a-4d which form members 5 and 6, relative rotation is possible, function as stoppers 5a and 8a which limit the relative rotation when the periphery surfaces facing each other at a boundary between the inside part 5 and the outside part 6 partially contact during relative rotation of both members, an extended form is provided. For this purpose, a slit width matches with the maximum allowable material strength of a measurement device, especially of spoke-like intermediate members 7a-7d and forklike arms 8a-8d. Thus, overload on the measurement device can be avoided, a torque can be transmitted even when the members 7a-7d or the arms 8a-8d are districted. This is because an engagement based on geometric form between the inside part 5 and the outside part 6 is maintained due to the extended form of the slits 4a-4d.

    • PURPOSE: To shorten time required for rim fastening work by unitizing members for alignment to prevent them from dispersing. CONSTITUTION: The rim of a wheel is fastened to a flange member 4 fixed to the shaft 1 with a fastening means 6. The shaft 1 has a conical peripheral surface 8 having a diameter extending gradually in the direction of fastening, and a diameter extending member 9 freely extensible in the radial direction having a conical inner circumferential surface 10 which touches and slides on this conical peripheral surface 8 and a cylindrical peripheral surface 12 which joins to the center hole of the rim 5, is provided. The diameter extending member 9 has a cylindrical ring 14 having a flange 15 and a flangelike touching and supporting means 17, and an angle ring 18 which covers the touching and supporting means 17 from its rear side over to its radial-direction outside is provided in such a way as to be abel to move sliding freely in the axial direction of the diameter extending member 9. The cylindrical part 19 of the angle ring 18 touches the rear of the rim 5, and a spring 21 is fitted maintaining its initially energized state between the flange 15 and the disklike part 20 of the angle ring 18.

    • PURPOSE: To simplify the structure of a clutch apparatus and reduce its size by placing within a hydraulically or pneumatically driven cylinder chamber the resilient means required for control of tension means. CONSTITUTION: A coned disc spring 10 is enclosed in a cylinder chamber 9 and a portion between the ring flange 2a of an end face flange 2 and an outer cylinder 6 is axially energized via a retaining ring. Thereby the outer cylinder 6 is moved leftward relative to the end face flange 2 to compress a conical tension plate 4 as the bore of the tension plate 4 is reduced and a bush 3 that has become easier to deflect diametrically is pressed against a shaft. This pressure is calculated so that a predetermined torque is safely transmitted from the end face flange 2 to the shaft 1 or vice versa. To disengage this clutch, a pressure medium is force-fed to the cylinder chamber 9 through a flow passage 22 to thereby slide the outer cylinder 6 rightward to cancel the clamping action of the tension plate 4.

    • PURPOSE: To reduce the manufacturing cost, in particular the assembling cost, by forming the relatively rotatable members integrally with forked teeth and the forked handle part of a lever surrounding the members. CONSTITUTION: In order to take out the relative rotation members 1, 2 are coupled the forked teeth 4, 5 of a plurality of levers 6 disposed around the members 1, 2. The forked teeth 4, 5 are arranged in the axial direction and the forked levers 6 are extending substantially in the coupling direction. The forked handle part is coupled, at the end part thereof, with a detection ring 8 and a plurality of functional members can be assembled as one compositional member. Since the relatively rotatable members 1, 2 thus assembled can be coupled tightly with both forked teeth 4, 5, a parallel planar coupling face is not required. Furthermore, boring of the coupling hole, adjustment and assembling work can be eliminated.
