    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a writing implement equipped with a writing tool and handle parts connected mutually. SOLUTION: The writing implement is disclosed which is equipped with the writing tool and the handle parts connected mutually and capable of selectively arranging the writing tool at either an extending position where a user uses the writing tool or a closing position for storing or at various positions between them. At an opening position, the handle parts are mutually adjacently arranged, and at a position for use, the writing tool extends separated in the longitudinal direction from the adjacent handle part. At the closing position, the handle parts are arranged adjacently to the longitudinal part of the writing tool, and at the storing position, the writing tool is surrounded at least partly between the handle parts. By turning the handle parts around the writing tool, the user can skillfully handle under various embodiments. The user can move the writing implement and perform a trick with the writing implement to provide pleasures. A method for manufacturing the writing implement by injection molding is also disclosed.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an auxiliary safe mechanism by which a folding knife blade is not accidentally closed from an extending position to a closing position by providing a thin and long slot which is substantially locked in the first extending position where the knife blade is positioned after extension from a handle at a first lock position. SOLUTION: When a safety latch 22 is at a release position, the stud 20 of the knife blade 8 is moved in a circular-arc shape by a seam plate hole 34 during rotation between the first extending position extended from the knife blade 8 and the second closing position. A seam plate 32 is positioned in the neighborhood of the base end part 12 of the knife blade 8 and the seam plate 34 receives the stud 20 so as to permit the rotation of the knife blade 8 with a pin as a center. When a safety lock arm 24 is in a front part position, it is positioned just above the stud 20. At this position, the point 10 of the knife blade 8 directed to the cavity of the handle is substantially prevented from being rotated downward.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the positioning of the blade of a folding knife and a blade lock mechanism by pivotally supporting the blade of the folding knife by means of an eccentric pivot pin having two independent axial centers. SOLUTION: The folding knife 2 is provided with the blade 4 having a hole 34 for a pivotally supporting pin which is pivotally supported to a handle part with the eccentric pivot pin 10. The handle part is provided with a liner lock 20 and the liner lock 20 has a lock arm 22 to be engaged with the rear end 8 of the blade when the blade 4 is in an extending position. The eccentric pivot pin 10 is provided with a head 50, a lock spline 28 and a pivot pin rotary surface 48 to be locked with the blade hole 34 and is fixed by screwing with a fastening screw 12. Then, the center line 30 of the lock spline 28 is deviated from the center line 32 of the pin rotary surface 48 so that the blade 4 is positioned by the rotary operation of the eccentric pivot pin 10.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the accidental opening of a blade when sudden tension is applied to lanyard when the blade is closed by providing an aperture provided with a dimension for receiving a mounting means for attachable and detachable mounting to an object and extended through the first end part of a handle means. SOLUTION: The aperture 26 is positioned near a turning supporting point for enabling the rotation of a knife blade between a first extension position and a second closed position or on the supporting point. At the first extension position, the knife blade is practically openably fixed at the position on the extension of a knife handle part 22 and is made usable. At the second closed position, at least a part of the knife blade is housed inside the void of the handle part 22 and the exposure of the blade of the knife is prevented. The knife handle part 22 is provided with the aperture 26 and the aperture 16 is extended completely through the knife handle part 22 and is in the size capable of passing through the lanyard 30 for freely attachably and detachably mounting this foldable knife 10 to a user or the other object at the time of use.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a folding knife having a lock mechanism engaged with a knife blade to prevent accidental closing of the knife blade. SOLUTION: This folding knife includes a substantially spherical ball whose size is determined to be operable and fitted in an elongated hole in the front part of a handle of the folding knife and an energizing means operably engaged with the substantially spherical ball at a first end and with the knife handle at a second end to energize the ball to the front part in the elongated slot. In the elongated slot, when the blade of the folding knife is elongated to a first working position, the substantially spherical ball is operably engaged with a tongue part (core) positioned at the heel end of the folding knife blade. The blade is substantially prevented from being rotated, and when the substantially spherical ball is drawn out of the tongue part, the blade can be rotated to a second position which is the closing position with at least a part of the blade positioned in the cavity of the folding knife handle of the blade.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To use a sharpener for sharpening a number of objects such as a knife, scissors, a chisel or the like, by providing a basic part of a cutter sharpener with such geometry that the cutter sharpener is alternated between one of the sharpening positions and the other sharpening position. SOLUTION: A cutter sharpener is inclined in a right direction at a first sharpening position, and is supported by an angle alternating means 14 and a first edge part 16. An user of the cutter sharpener slides a cutting edge of a knife downward from the uppermost part of a second leg 8 toward a second edge part 18. Whereby one blade face of the cutting edge of the knife is sharpened. Then the blade sharpener 2 is inclined in a left direction, placed on a second sharpening position, and supported by the angle alternating means 14 and the second edge part 18. Then the cutting edge of the knife is positioned near the uppermost part of a first leg 6, and the cutting edge of the knife is slid downward toward the first edge part 16. Whereby the blade face at an opposite side of the cutting edge of the knife is sharpened.
