Bleaching flour &c.-Pseudo-perphosphates of the formula "RPO4wXO2," where R is a metal, or includes a metal and ammonium and sometimes also hydrogen, w is a number and XO2 is hydrogen or other peroxide, are prepared by treating a soluble orthophosphate, preferably anhydrous, with a peroxide in the presence of water or a dilute aqueous solution of hydrogen peroxide, and then evaporating the solution under reduced pressure, at room temperature and over a suitable reagent for absorbing water, e.g. fused calcium chloride, until a dry solid mass is obtained. If hydrogen peroxide is used alone, the phosphate is treated with a solution of hydrogen peroxide of suitable strength and then evaporated, as before. The products are stable at ordinary temperatures, but decompose on warming or addition of dilute acids. They may be used for bleaching and in balking powders &c. Metallic and organic peroxides may be used in place of hydrogen peroxide.

摘要： The present invention relates to self adhesive hard surface cleaning blocks, and their use. It is an object of the present invention to provide a detergent block that can be easily positioned onto a hard surface; even a wet surface. It is a further object of the invention to provide a detergent block that rinses away in a number of flushes, and does not leave behind any residue that cannot be easily removed with e.g. a toilet brush. We have found that a hard surface cleaning block comprising surfactants forming a liquid crystalline phase upon contact with water meet the objects of the invention.
