Une préparation destinée à être utilisée selon ce procédé comprend un premier conditionnement contenant un sel d'ammonium en combinaison avec un agent tensio-actif et un indicateur non ioniques et un deuxième conditionnement contenant un hydroxyde de métal alcalin et un bactéricide phénolique, la quantité molaire d'hydroxyde dans le deuxième conditionnement étant supérieure à la quantité molaire de l'ammonium dans le premier conditionnement.

摘要： A method of disinfecting premises from coccidial oocysts in which surface to be disinfected is thoroughly wetted with a first aqueous solution of ammonium salt containing approximately 0.5 to 1.5 molar of ammonium together with non-ionic surfactant and indicator having a colour change in the region of pH 8 to pH 10 and the wetted surface is then covered with sufficient of a second aqueous solution of alkali metal hydroxide containing approximately 0.75 to 2.3 molar of hydroxide together with phenolic bactericide to cause the indicator to change colour on the treated surface. A preparation for use in such a method comprises a first package containing ammonium salt together with non-ionic surfactant and indicator and a second package containing alkali metal hydroxide and phenolic bactericide, the molar amount of hydroxide in the second package being greater than the molar amount of ammonium in the first package.

[Also in Group XXXI] A device mounted on the rear bumper of a motor vehicle to give warning of the presence of an obstruction comprises a pair of plastic strips 15 and 16, hinged together at 18 and constrained to the position shown in full lines in Fig. 3 by a spring 19, the inner strip being secured by rivets 21 to a base-plate 12 secured to the bumper 10 by bolts 13 with the interposition of a rubber backing 14 between the plate and the bumper and a sheet of copper 20 between the strip 15 and plate 12. Electrical contacts 24 are provided on the strip 15 and are connected by conducting strips 22 and 23 respectively to terminals 25 and thence via an isolating switch, warning lamp and/or buzzer to a battery terminal, the sheet 20 being earthed through plate 12 and bolts 13. When an obstruction is encountered the device is constrained to the position shown in broken lines and electrical contact is established between either or both of the elements 24 and the sheet. 20. One or two such devices may be fitted. In a modification, the strips 15 and 16 are of steel and appropriate insulation is provided between the strip 15 and sheet 20.
