    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for operating a power generator, and a device therefor, in which waste cooking oil and waste lubricating oil are not used as they are as fuel for a diesel engine, gas turbine, or a steam turbine, but they are heat-decomposed to be gasified, food residue and other unnecessary matter are eliminated, generated gas is reformed and cooled to be a high purity reformed fuel oil, and a diesel engine or the like is operated using the reformed fuel oil.
      SOLUTION: Waste cooking oil and waste lubricating oil are used as main materials to be blended at a prescribed ratio, and obtained matter is agitated and mixed under controlled temperature. Mixed oil is heat-decomposed to be gasified, and generated gas is reformed by a catalyst. Reformed gas is cooled to provide condensed fluid, from which unnecessary components are eliminated to provided reformed fuel oil. The fuel oil is used as fuel for a drive engine such as a diesel engine 20, a gas turbine, and a steam boiler for driving the power generator 21.
