摘要： A collapsible plastic container includes a top perimeter, a bottom and a plurality of sidewalls formed in a generally rectangular configuration. At least one of the sidewalls is pivotable between a collapsed position and an opened position. An engaging portion of the pivotable sidewall includes a first opening therein, which is disposed adjacent a receiving portion of either the top perimeter and the bottom including a second opening therein in the opened position. The first and second openings are relatively positioned such that they are aligned when the pivotable sidewall is in its opened position. A locking lug is positioned such that it is extendible into the aligned openings of an adjacent container when the container and the adjacent container are in a stacked arrangement. A lid may also be provided including a second locking lug. The structure ensures that the sidewalls are securely held in their vertical position to thereby ensure that the container will bear its maximum load. Additionally, the locking lugs prevent the sides from being pushed in when the containers are stacked or closed to thereby provide added security.

摘要： An animal drinking cup or bowl is provided which is constructed so that water being dispensed from a nipple drinker mounted by the cup or bowl will move to a location remote from the drinker actuator, encouraging the animal to drink from a remote pool of water, and thereby reducing water waste and spillage. A metal cup or bowl body mounts the nipple drinker so that the pin actuator is at a first location, and the cup or bowl body has a slanted bottom portion adjacent the first location and leading to a pool-defining portion at a second location remote from the first location. The second location is preferably sufficiently remote from the first location so that an animal (such as a piglet) using the drinking cup or bowl substantially cannot activate the pin when simultaneously drinking out of the pool-defining portion. The slanted bottom portion may make a substantially uniform angle of about 4-10.degree. with respect to the horizontal, and the pool-defining portion can be at the far front of the drinker, at one side, or at both sides with a center portion from which two bottom portions slant downwardly.

摘要： A collapsible box is manufactured simply and inexpensively, and can support hanging files in a secure manner. The box components are all constructed of plastic, and pivotal connections between all of the components (to provide for the collapsing and erecting action) are provided solely by plastic pivot pins integral with the plastic components, and pivot pin receiving openings formed in the plastic components. The pivotal elements snap together and are disassemblable, so that the container may be easily assembled together and may be taken apart without the necessity of removing accessory elements that have been specifically inserted to pivotally connect the components together. Metal bars for supporting hanging files are themselves supported by channel defining elements extending inwardly from end panels of the box. The channel defining elements have closed sides and a closed bottom, and a closed end defined by the end panel. The metal file supporting bars may be moved in place supported by the channel elements by moving them downwardly through openings in the tops of the elements defined by beveled surfaces, or inserted through the open ends of the channels. The length of the bars is essentially the same as the spacing between the end panels when they are vertical and support the container in its operative (erected) position.

摘要： A hinge assembly incorporates a substantially straight hinge pin for securing a lid to a container. At least one end of a hinge line is initially closed via a plastic wall. The substantially straight hinge pin is secured in the hinge line via passing the hinge pin through the plastic wall. Subsequently, residual axial and radial stresses caused by passing the hinge pin through the wall cause the opening to contract, thereby retaining the pin.
