    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique related to a wet type gas treatment, by which problems occurring in the case that the flow rate of an exhaust gas is lowered are solved effectively without enlarging excessively the size of a liquid reserving part or the capability of a pump. SOLUTION: The wet type gas treatment is performed by entraining an absorbing liquid in the exhaust gas flowing from the lower part of an absorption tower toward the top part to bring into gas liquid contact to absorb an objective component in the exhaust gas into the absorbing liquid. In this treatment the absorbing liquid falling down to an absorbing tower bottom part liquid reserving vessel provided in a bottom part of the absorption tower is refluxed through a 2nd liquid reserving vessel to an absorbing liquid reserving tank for supplying the absorbing liquid into the absorption tower in the case that the flow rate of the exhaust gags is lower than a prescribed flow rate. The treatment apparatus possesses a pressurizing means for pressurizing the inside of the absorbing liquid reserving vessel and a control means for controlling the pressurizing means to make the pressure of the absorbing liquid supplied to the absorption tower constant.
