    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an eccentricity measuring instrument capable of inspecting even a pocket gear by enabling a probe to move in two directions being a radial direction and a direction perpendicular to the radial direction, and to provide an eccentricity measuring instrument capable of inspecting the parallelism of a tooth space.SOLUTION: According to an eccentricity measuring instrument 50, a probe 34 is moved in two directions being a radial direction (X-axis direction) and a direction (Z-axis direction) perpendicular to the radial direction. Thus, a pocket gear with an outer wall formed outside a tooth space can be inspected without problems. Since the probe 34 is movable in the two directions, the inspection of the parallelism of the tooth space and the inspection of eccentricity can be continuously performed by one probe 34.

    • PURPOSE:To shorten the extent of movement of a contact and to measure the concentricity of a work which is worked with a machine tool or the like, by separating the contact to a prescribed position after bringing the contact into contact with the work to measure the concentricity. CONSTITUTION:When the concentricity of a hole 4 worked in a work 1, a measuring instrument 20 is attached to a main spindle 6 of the machining center. The measuring instrument 20 is provided with a detector 9, a moving mechanism 15, and a position detector 21. A contact 11 of the detector 9 is moved from the inside to the outside; and when it is brought into contact with the wall of the hole 4, the measuring instrument 20 is rotated, and the concentricity is measured on a basis of the extent of contact between the contact 11 and the hole 4 by the position detector 21. After this measurement, the contact 11 is separated from the hole 4 to a prescribed position C. Consequently, since the extent of movement of the detector is shortened and the detector goes and returns for this extent when the concentricity of works having the same shape, the measurement is performed automatically in a short time.

    • PURPOSE:To take a measurement of concentricity and to measure automatically an internal and an external diameter without any modification of a machine tool by providing a means which detects the quantity of eccentricity from a reference center and a means which detects the phase of said detecting means to a holder concentric with the reference center. CONSTITUTION:The measuring element 12a of an electric micrometer 12 is brought into contact with the hole 9 of a material 1 to be worked and contact quantities in respective directions are measured by rotating the main spindle. At this time, the measurement direction, i.e. phase of the electric micrometer 12 is detected through proximity switches 18 and a dog 16 for the proximity switch. The switches 18 rotate together with the electric micrometer 12 and holder 11 and the dog 16 for the proximity switch dropps invariably in the gravitational direction in a stationary state, so the measurement direction of the electric microswitch is known by detecting which proximity switch the dog 16 operates on.

    • PURPOSE:To enable accurate and easy measurement of the concentricity between a large-diameter hole and a successive small-diameter hole regardless of the skill of a person by fixing a gauge supporting pipe to be screwed or fitted into the large hole at one end of a holder of the measuring gauge while an indicator is fastened to the other end thereof separately. CONSTITUTION:A male thread 5 is cut in the circumference of a gauge supporting pipe fixed at one end of a holder 1 in such a manner as to be screwed into a female-threaded hole 4 of a stepped hole 4 in a matter 3 to be measured. When the gauge supporting pipe 2 is screwed into the hole 4a, a measuring piece 6a of a measuring element 6 comes into contact with the surface to be measured to measure the concentricity between the hole 4a and the successive small diameter hole 4b. In other words, a dial gauge 9 is fixed at the other end of the holder 1 and the head of the measuring element 6 gets into contact with a contactor 13 provided at the tip of a spindle 12 to turn a pointer 14. As the spindle 12 retracts, the pointer 14 swings. The swing is read to check whether the value is within an allowable range or not thereby enabling accurate and simple measurement of the concentricity.
