    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system that collects commute information via a contactless IC tag carried by a kindergartner or schoolchild and delivers the collection result to a requester. SOLUTION: The system has the contactless IC tag with an antenna carried by a person to be picked up, a gate device with transmitting/receiving means mounted on a pickup bus, a station device with transmitting/receiving means installed at a station for the pickup bus, and a commute information collection apparatus with transmitting/receiving means for collecting commute information. The contactless IC tag records an ID code of the person to be picked up. The gate device reads a station code from the station device at the station the bus stops, reads the ID code of the person to be picked up from the contactless IC tag, and records them in a recording part of the gate device along with time information read in. The commute information collection apparatus collects via the transmitting/receiving means the ID code of the person to be picked up, the station code and the read time information recorded in the gate device, as commute information. • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a patrol management system capable of accurately managing patrolman's behavior or diligence in a wide area. SOLUTION: This patrol management system has a plurality of terminal devices 1 each installed to each patrol place, and a management device 2 connected to the terminal devices 1 via a communication network 3. The terminal device 1 has an input part 4 inputting patrolman identification information, entry/exit information concerning entry/exit of the patrol place, and patrol information concerning patrol contends; and a communication part 6 automatically transmitting entry/exit date/time information and terminal identification information identifying the terminal device 1 together with the information inputted by the input part 4. The management device 2 has a communication part 9 receiving the patrolman identification information, the entry/exit information, the patrol information, the terminal identification information and the entry/exit date/time information; a patrol schedule generation part 11 generating a patrol schedule for each the patrolman on the basis of information of a database 10 storing the received information; and a diligence information generation part 12 generating diligence information of each the patrolman based on the information of the database 10.

    • PURPOSE: To grasp the movement of workers engaged in services by storing a memory with worker information including a received projector ID and its reception time, and reading the contents of the memory out and processing them by an information processors after the work. CONSTITUTION: When a worker wearing a worker photodetector 3 acts in the hall, worker information is stored in the memory 23 of the worker photodetector 3 each time the worker passes below the projector 1 for the hall. The worker information includes the projector ID and the time when the worker passes below it, so the movement track, movement distance, and movement time of each worker engaged with services can be found by reading the worker information out of the memory 23 after the work. Further, when the worker photodetector 3 is provided with a bow sensor 24, bow data are stored as worker information in the memory 23 each time the worker bows. Consequently, the worker information is read to find management information on the frequency and time of bowing or total bowing places, etc.

    • A system for automatically logging the interaction between a plurality of objects. Small, self-contained transmitting beacon units are attached to a first set of objects. These beacon units transmit a uniquely coded signal at prescribed intervals. A small, self-contained portable transceiving unit is attached to a second set of objects. The second set of objects typically moves in, about, and among the first set of objects, although either set may move relative to the other. The signals transmitted by the beacon units have a limited range. If the transceiving unit is within this range for a specified period of time, the unique code associated with the transmitted signal is time-logged into a memory element contained within the portable receiving unit. At the end of a specified period of time, such as a work day, the contents of the memory of the transceiving unit may be examined to determine the objects with which an interaction has been had during the time period. A computer may be used to analyze, sort, and generate reports from the data thus logged within the transceiving units. The system is particularly well suited for use as a time and accounting system in a custodial environment, such as a hospital or similar facility.
