    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming method for a silver halide color photographic sensitive material by which even in long-term continuous processing of a silver halide photosensitive material, sufficient density is obtained and density unevenness of a black portion and thin line blur are reduced, and to provide a silver halide color photographic sensitive material which can be suitably used for the method.
      SOLUTION: In the image forming method, a color photographic sensitive material having at least one each of blue-, green- and red-sensitive silver halide emulsion layers, where the emulsion layers contain the grain emulsion of silver halide having a silver chloride content of ≥90 mol%, is exposed and developed with a color developing solution having an Na to K ion molar ratio of 0.8-4.0. Maximum densities on the characteristic curves of the blue-, green and red-sensitive emulsion layers obtained in the image forming method are ≥2.2 each, and maximum density ratios (B/G, R/G) are 0.9-1.1 each.
