摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device constituted so that the wear of the surface of a latent image carrier can be completely restrained, decomposed substance caused by the deterioration of a photoreceptive film and soiling substance adhering to the surface of the latent image carrier can be completely removed and very good image quality can be obtained over a long term. SOLUTION: This image forming device is equipped with the latent image carrier 1, an electrifying means 2, an image input means 3, a developing means 4, a transfer means 5 and a cleaning means 7. The latent image carrier 1 is equipped with a layer incorporating a cross-linking body having a skeleton consisting of an optical functional organic group, a silicon atom and an oxygen atom on the farthest side from the conductive supporting body of the photoreceptive film. Developer incorporates toner particles whose volume average particle size is 3 to 9 μm and abrasive particulates whose average particle size is 0.05 to 5.5 μm, and the cleaning means 7 is equipped with a cleaning blade abutting on the latent image carrier 1 with line pressure 10 to 150 g/cm.
