    • PURPOSE:To maintain the durability of a pipe by installing a number of projections on the inner wall of the pipe for the transport of fluid and allowing the fluid which contacts the inner surface of the pipe to collide with the projections and lowering the flow speed of the fluid by the resistance due to the projections and suppressing the reduction of the thickness of the pipe. CONSTITUTION:A number of projections 3 are formed at the part where the thermal decomposition gas collides on the inner surface of a bent pipe 2 connected with a straight pipe 4, and the thermal decomposition gas which contacts the inner surface of the pipe 2 is collided with the projections 3, and the flow speed of the fluid is lowered by the resistance due to the projections 3, and the erosion of the inner surface of the pipe 2due to the fluid is suppressed, and the generated erosion is concentrated to each projection 3, and the reduction of the thickness of the pipe 2 is suppressed by the sacrifice of the projection 3 due to the erosion. In other words, the pipe 2 consists of a bent pipe which is bent by 180 deg. and made of casted steel, and a number of projections 3 are arranged in proximity each other, and arranged nearly along the flow passage direction for fluid and arranged in the nearly half on the upstream side of the bent part 2a onto which the thermal decomposition gas collides on the inner surface of the pipe body 2A, and projectingly formed in staircase form along a flow passage R.
