摘要： PURPOSE:Fumigation chemicals and an organic foaming agent are mixed and packed, then the pack is indirectly heated to cause thermal decomposition of the organic foaming agent without combustion and the fumigant is instantly vaporized over a wide range by the action of the decomposition gas. CONSTITUTION:A fumigant such as insecticide, fungicide or perfume is packed together with an organic foaming agent which thermally decomposes lower than 300 deg.C to generate N2 or CO2 gas and the pack is indirectly heated to effect thermal decomposition of the foaming agent without combustion whereby the chemical is effectively fumigated by the action of the generated gas. The fumigant and the foaming agent are packed with a metal foil of Al or Cu, paper or synthetic resin film which is made retardant to flame and the seal is tightly twisted. An appropriate hole may be opened previously in the above pack.

摘要： PURPOSE:The titled composition, obtained by incorporating an evaporation medium consisting of a mixture of an organic foaming agent with an inorganic foaming agent with various agents used for the purpose or repelling injurious insects, sterilizing or aromatizing, etc., and capable of volatilizing and diffusing the various agents effectively and rapidly without thermal decomposition thereof. CONSTITUTION:A fumigating agent composition, obtained by incorporating various fumigating agents, e.g. not only insecticides but also germicides, repellents, herbicides, and other agricultural chemicals, with an inorganic foaming agent, e.g. sodium bicarbonate or ammonium carbonate, and an azo compound, nitroso compound, hydrazide compound and semicarbazide compound, etc., and capable of generating a gas under heating by thermal decomposition of the above-mentioned foaming agent and fumigating concentratedly in a short time without thermal decomposition of the above-mentioned agents. The composition is effective against flies, mosquitoes, fleas, house ticks, cockroaches, etc. and safe with very slight irritating smell and smoke without danger of fire.
