The layer may be (1) a layer containing a compound containing the groups A, B and C in the same molecule or (2) a layer containing a compound containing two of the groups A, B and C in the same molecule and a compound having the remaining one group. In the case of an electrophotographic photoreceptor, the groups A, B and C may be contained in the electric charge transferring layer or the surface protecting layer.
