      SOLUTION: This luminaire 1 is provided with the end caps 4 attached to the luminaire body 2. The end cap 4 is provided with a pair of mounting pieces 40 facing each other in the width direction of the luminaire body 2, and a connection piece 41 connecting the mounting pieces 40 to each other. The mounting pieces 40 are formed to increase the distance between inside surfaces 40a toward the lower side. An engagement hole 41b used for fixing the end cap 4 is formed on the connection piece 41. The luminaire body 2 is provided with support projecting pieces 82a and 85a supporting the end caps 4 in a form positioned between the mounting pieces 40, and engagement parts 61 energized to project to one surface side and fitted in the engagement holes 41b when the end caps 4 are positioned at fixed positions with respect to the luminaire body 2. Both the side surfaces 61a of the engagement part 61 are tilted to reduce the distance between both the side surfaces 61a toward the lower side.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting apparatus in which a protective film 31 is given a cut-out slit corresponding to a position of a fixing hole 45 of a translucent cover 13 to improve operability and a peeling of the protective film 31 from a portion of the cut-out slit can be prevented.
      SOLUTION: The fixing hole 45 is formed for fixing a fixing means 34 near an edge portion of the translucent cover 13. In an inner surface of the translucent cover 13, there is attached the protective film 31, and the protective film 31 is given a cut-out slit corresponding to a position of the fixing hole 45. A packing 47 of the fixing means 34 is inserted into the fixing hole 45 from an inside surface of the translucent cover 13 and a portion where the protective film 31 is given the cut-out slit is wound and brought inside by the packing 47. By fastening with a fixing screw 54 and a nut 59 which penetrate the packing 47, the packing 47 expands in a radius direction and pushes the portion of the protective film wound into the fixing hole 45 to contact tight on the inner surface of the fixing hole 45.
