摘要： NEW MATERIAL:An oxytitanium phthalocyanine crystal having clear diffraction peaks at Bragg angles (2theta+ or -0.2 deg.) of 7.3 deg., 19.4 deg., 21.5 deg. and 23.8 deg. in X-ray diffraction. USE:Useful as a photoconductive material for photosensitizer in an electrophotography having high sensitivity and durability. PREPARATION:For instance, 1,3-diiminoisoindoline is reacted with titanium tetrabutoxide to obtain oxytitanium phthalocyanine. Next, the oxytitanium phthalocyanine is poured into concentrated sulfuric acid and dissolved or made to a slurry preferably at 0-60 deg.C. Then, said concentrated sulfuric acid solution or slurry is poured into a mixed solvent of water and an aromatic solvent such as benzene and a crystal is separated out, then said crystal is filtered, thus washed with water to pH5-6 and at last, dried under reduced pressure.

摘要： PURPOSE:To improve the photosensitivity and chargeability of the photosensitive body and to stabilize the photosensitivity and charge potential against an environmental change by incorporating a charge generating pigment having an electron hole transfer property and a specific compd. into a charge generating layer. CONSTITUTION:This photosensitive body is formed by incorporating the charge generating pigment having the electron hole transfer property (e.g.: phthalocyanine pigment) and the tetracyanoanthraquinodimethane expressed by formula I are incorporated into the charge generating layer of the photosensitive body. In formula, R1 to R4 denote H, alkyl group, etc.; the compd. expressed by formula II, etc., are usable as the compd. of the formula. This photosensitive body is subjected to 1st image exposing and a negatively charged toner is stuck to the low potential part of the resulted latent image to form a 1st toner image. The photosensitive body is then subjected to 2nd image exposing and the 2nd toner image consisting of a positively charged toner is formed on the high-potential part of the resulted latent image. After the polarities of the 1st and 2nd toner images are unified in one direction, the images are transferred to form the pictures.
