摘要： PURPOSE:To reduce the drag to an intake and exhaust flow for improving intake and exhaust efficiency by providing radial shrouds monolithically at the back surface on the valve head portion of a ceramic intake and exhaust valve. CONSTITUTION:A wall thickness of the valve head portion 13 in a ceramic intake and exhaust valve 11 is formed thinner than the one of a conventional metallic intake and exhaust valve, and radial shrouds 12 are monolithically formed on the back surface of the valve head portion 13 in order to make up for the wall thickness. Thereby, it is possible to lighten the intake and exhaust valve for high speed running, and to improve intake and exhaust efficiency.

The composition is particularly suitable as a lubricating oil such as turbine oil or compressor oil exhibiting very excellent oxidation stability and required to have a low sludge forming tendency.
