    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a luminaire with an automatic fire alarm system, wherein the automatic fire alarm system always operates regardless of switching on and off the luminaire and power failure.
      SOLUTION: The automatic fire alarm system 20 is provided in the luminaire 10 mountable to the vicinity of a ceiling, and a sensing part 21 is mounted to the lower surface of a luminaire body part 11 which faces the floor. Since the automatic fire alarm system is equipped with a rechargeable battery part 23, a fire is always sensed regardless of switching on and off the lamp power source of the luminaire 10. If the automatic fire alarm system 20 is mounted to the luminaire 10 requiring no construction for mounting, the automatic fire alarm system 20 can be installed without requiring any construction. An external power supply terminal 24 to which electric energy can be supplied from any optional power supply, and thereby, power supply can be supplied to the automatic fire alarm system regardless of switching on and off of the luminaire 10. A terminal block 25 for wiring an alarm signal to output the alarm signal to the outside is provided, and thereby, the alarm can be sent to a remote place.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily carry out mounting and removal of a lamp to a socket regarding a structure of the socket in an illumination device of a direct mounting method and a pendant method.
      SOLUTION: The illumination device has a connector part and a socket 5a to electrically connect the connector part and the lamp 3a. The socket 5a has the main body part 6a having a lamp side end part to be electrically connected to a terminal of the lamp, and an arch-shaped part 16a in which the first end part 17a adjacent to the lamp side end part and the second end part 18a on the other side are formed. A lever 15a is mounted on the main body 6a so that the terminal of the lamp is rotated in a face containing a direction of insertion into the lamp side end part and pull out therefrom. The first end part 17a is pushed by the lamp 3a and housed in the main body 6a when the terminal of the lamp is inserted into the lamp side end part, and when the second end part 18a is pushed in a rotating direction of the lever 15a, it pushes the lamp 3a so that the terminal of the lamp will be pulled out from the lamp side end part.
