    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing foamed wallpaper by laminating a non-foamed resin layer on a paper base material by a T-die extrusion method or a method for manufacturing the foamed wall paper achieving high productivity and hardly causing fish eye and the like in the following printing process even when the wallpaper contains calcium carbonate sufficient enough to assure good cuttability with a cutter.
      SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing foamed wallpaper comprises the following processes (1) to (3) i.e.: a process (1) of manufacturing a master roll for the foamed wallpaper by extrusion-molding a non-foamed resin layer-forming composition containing an electron beam-curable resin, a thermally decomposable foaming agent and calcium carbonate with a T-die extruder to laminate the non-foamed resin layer on the paper base material wherein the content of calcium carbonate is 20 to 60 pts.wt. based on 100 pts.wt. of the electron beam-curable resin, and a content of a particle having a diameter in the range from 1 to 100 μm is not less than 70 wt.% in the particle distribution of calcium carbonate; a process (2) of crosslinking the electron beam-curable resin contained in the non-foamed resin layer by irradiating an electron beam; and a process (3) of heat-treating the non-foamed resin layer to foam the thermally decomposable foaming agent contained in the non-foamed resin layer, the processes being conducted in the order.
