摘要： A sound bar having a mounting assembly configured to pivotally secure the bar. The sound bar includes an elongated, at least partially hollow, housing. The housing has a body extending between two opposing ends. A speaker array is positioned in the body. At least one speaker is positioned in at least one end of the bar. The end speaker(s) are preferably bass speakers in fluid communication with the hollow housing. A grill is preferably positioned over at least one of the housing ends. The grill preferably has a center hub affixed to an outer rim by spokes defining open spaces in the grill to facilitate the emission of sound. A mount is attached to the sound bar to secure the bar to a structure while allowing the bar to pivot along its longitudinal axis. Preferably, the mount is secured to the center hub of the grill.

摘要： A system includes an acoustic monitoring, analysis, and diagnostic system having a processor. The processor is configured to receive NF noise signals from a near field (NF) microphone array, the NF microphone array measures noises from a power generation system in a NF. The processor is configured to receive FF noise signals from a far field (FF) microphone array, the FF microphone array measures noises from a power generation system in a FF. The processor is configured to derive NF and FF noise measurements based on the signals and to synchronize the NF and FF noise measurements to create synchronized NF and FF noise data. The processor is configured to analyze the synchronized NF and FF noise data to create a NF and an FF noise signature. The processor is configured to diagnose root causes of noises generated from the power generation system and to report the root causes.

An example apparatus includes at least one memory, instructions in the apparatus, and processor circuitry to execute the instructions to: determine a first time difference of arrival for a first audio sensor of a meter and a second audio sensor of the meter based on a first audio recording from the first audio sensor and a second audio recording from the second audio sensor; determine a second time difference of arrival for the first audio sensor and a third audio sensor of the meter based on the first audio recording and a third audio recording from the third audio sensor; determine a match by comparing the first time difference of arrival to i) a first virtual source time difference of arrival and ii) a second virtual source time difference of arrival; in response to determining that the first time difference of arrival matches the first virtual source time difference of arrival, identify a first virtual source location as the location of a media presentation device presenting media; and remove the second audio recording to reduce a computational burden on the processor.

摘要： A localized sound projection system can coordinate the sounds of speakers to simulate the placement of an auditory cue in a 3D space. The system can include a plurality of speakers configured to output auditory signals and a sound localization controller configured to control the plurality of speakers to coordinate the auditory signals to simulate an origination location of a patient alarm. The sound localization controller can determine adjusted auditory signals and control a plurality of speakers to output the plurality of adjusted auditory signals. A method for dynamically controlling speaker settings in a medical environment can include determining volume settings corresponding to a speaker, monitoring a level of ambient noise corresponding to a room of a patient, controlling the volume settings of the speaker to reduce or increase a sound level output of a speaker. A patient monitoring system can be configured to physically manipulate medical devices in response to audible commands. The system can receive a plurality of vocal commands from a user and can manipulate various settings after confirmation from a user.
