摘要： A liquid crystal display and a fabrication method thereof are provided. The liquid crystal display includes a liquid crystal display panel having a plurality of pixels. A backlight module is disposed under the liquid crystal display panel. A lens is disposed between the liquid crystal display panel and the backlight module, having a plurality of optical structures formed on an upper surface and a lower surface thereof. The lens can disperse lights from the backlight module to form a plurality of chromatic light sources, wherein each chromatic light source is composed of colored lights with a continuous spectrum formed from a red light to a violet light and corresponds to each pixel.

摘要： A liquid crystal display device includes a pixel electrode, a thin film transistor, a gate line electrically coupled to the pixel through the thin film transistor and a first auxiliary layer having a first connecting portion overlapped with the pixel electrode and a second connecting portion overlapped with the gate line. The pixel electrode is non-overlapped with the gate line and the first auxiliary layer is electrically insulated from the pixel electrode and the gate line. When a white defect occurs, the pixel electrode is electrically connected to the gate line through the first auxiliary layer thereby repairing the white defect as a black defect.

A liquid crystal layer is interposed between the first and the second substrate. A gate line and data lines are formed on the first substrate in a matrix configuration and defining pixel areas. A counter electrode is disposed on each pixel area of the first substrate. A pixel electrode is disposed above the counter electrode with an insulating layer therebetween. The pixel electrode includes a plurality of parallel electrodes. Each electrode includes a first segment, a second segment, and a third segment, wherein the first segment has an included angle θ from the horizontal direction, the second segment has an included angle φ from the horizontal direction, and the first segment has an included angle θ from the horizontal direction.

摘要： A photo element includes a photo thin film transistor (TFT), a switch thin film transistor, and a compensation thin film transistor. A bias line provides a bias voltage to the photo TFT. The photo TFT generates a photo-induced current under an illuminated environment. A first switch line provides a voltage to open the switch TFT, and thus the photo-induced current is read out through a readout line. A second switch line provides compensation current to open the compensation TFT. The compensation current applies a reverse-biased stress to the photo TFT; therefore the threshold voltage and sensitivity of the photo TFT can be maintained.

At least one pixel region includes a storage capacitor having an upper electrode and a bottom electrode. Each said upper electrode is a portion of a pixel electrode. The claimed method reduces the materials and hours required by prior methods such as the thin film depositing method for a substrate, and the photolithographic method for manufacturing a transistor.The preferred embodiment of the present invention comprises a step of defining the pattern of the seeder material and a step of selectively thin film deposition. The direct patterned technology for the seeder and a chemical bath deposition (CBD) are utilized to provide the thin film growing method with non-vacuum and selective deposition. The object of the invention is applied to produce the wire or electrode, within the semiconductor device, or to deposit and manufacture the thin film in the large-area transistor array or a reflective layer.
