摘要： Systems and methods for collecting sports data are disclosed, which include measuring, at one or more sensor modules mounted, affixed, or embedded on at least one sports participant, data corresponding to identification, movement, position, or condition of the at least one sports participant; broadcasting, from one or more telemetry modules mounted, affixed, or embedded on the at least one sports participant, signals carrying the data corresponding to identification, movement, position, or condition of the at least one sports participant; measuring, at one or more sensor modules mounted, affixed, or embedded in a sports object, data corresponding to identification, movement, position, or condition of the sports object; and broadcasting, from one or more telemetry modules mounted, affixed, or embedded on the sports object, signals carrying the data corresponding to identification, movement, position, or condition of the sports object. The systems and methods also include receiving the signals from the telemetry modules mounted, affixed, or embedded on the at least one sports participant and the telemetry modules mounted, affixed, or embedded on the sports object; and processing the received signals to calculate position information or movement information of a sports object or a sports participant in relation to a playing surface of a sports event.

摘要： A functional prosthesis for a hand comprises an opening and closing mechanism for articulated fingers. A worm gear coupled to a DC actuator-motor provides linear movement to a displacement mobile which is coupled to articulated fingers of the artificial hand. When the actuator rotates in one direction, the displacement mobile moves in one direction, causing the fingers to open or close, depending upon the direction of rotation. Rotation of the actuator in the opposite direction will cause the fingers to move in the opposite direction.

摘要： The present invention is a spotlight with adjustable focus that has a focus fixing mechanism to prevent inadvertent changes to the focus of the light, while still allowing user-friendly intentional adjustment of the focus. The mounting collar of the reflector assembly rotates on helical threads on the neck of the lamp assembly so that the focus of the light may be adjusted. The focus is fixed in position by a plurality of ridges and valleys on the lamp assembly that mate with corresponding ridges and valleys in the collar of the reflector assembly. The collar of the reflector assembly is sufficiently flexible or expandable so that the focus of the lamp may be intentionally changed by applying sufficient rotational force to the reflector assembly. The collar is sufficiently rigid that the reflector assembly will not rotate as a result of incidental vibrations or movement.
