    • An optical plate structure for a touch panel includes an optical plate, at least a light source, and at least an optical camera. A light-emitting surface of the optical plate includes a plurality of micro-structure. The light source is disposed beside a vertical side of the optical plate and emits a first light entering the optical plate. The optical plate guides the first light and emits a second light from the light-emitting surface. The optical camera is disposed beside the optical plate or in a corner of the optical plate and above the light-emitting surface, for detecting a third light incident on the light camera. The second light is reflected by an object touching the optical plate to become the third light. The optical plate structure for a touch panel may be utilized in a touch display panel or a touch liquid crystal display panel.

    • By way of enabling a reset signal while turning off a liquid crystal display, a method for decaying residual image of the liquid crystal display is capable of setting the corresponding gate signal of each of a plurality of gate lines of the liquid crystal display based on the reset signal being enabled. Accordingly, enhanced discharging processes on all the storage units of the liquid crystal display for fast decaying residual image can be performed via the data switches of the liquid crystal display turned on by the gate signals being set. The reset operation for performing discharging processes in response to the reset signal can be carried out based on a reset circuit for setting all the gate signals to become high-level signals, or based on a charging/discharging module for furnishing a high-level voltage directly to all the gate lines.

    • An organic light emitting display includes a current driving unit, an organic light emitting diode and a memory unit. The current driving unit is employed to provide a driving current according to a driving voltage generated therein. The organic light emitting diode generates a light output based on the driving current. The operation of the memory unit is controlled by a first auxiliary power voltage and a second auxiliary power voltage. When the first auxiliary power voltage is greater than the second auxiliary power voltage, the memory unit is enabled to perform a voltage retaining operation on the driving voltage. When the second auxiliary power voltage is greater than the first auxiliary power voltage, the memory unit is disabled for ceasing the voltage retaining operation.

    • A touch sensing system includes a touch panel, a driving apparatus and a processing circuit. The touch panel includes a plurality of touch sensing units arranged in form of a matrix. The driving apparatus is configured to drive the touch sensing units, receive a sensing signal from each of the touch sensing units, convert each of the received sensing signals to have a digital format and output the digital sensing signals. The processing circuit is configured to define a matrix of sensing value according to values of the received sensing signals and positions of the respective touch sensing units, scan the non-zero elements in the matrix by a predetermined mean, refer all the located non-zero elements to as a part of the contour of the object and calculating a size of a contour of an object. An operation for the touch sensing system is also provided.
