摘要： A sensor system is provided which includes an electroacoustic transducer, which is designed as a thickness oscillator and accordingly includes a front element having a bottom area and an end face, at least one disk-shaped piezoelectric element having a first surface and a second surface, and a rear element having a first end face and a second end face, the end face of the front element being coupled to a diaphragm which is suitable for emitting and receiving sound waves. The bottom area of the front element is joined to the first surface of the piezoelectric element integrally and/or in a force-fit manner, and the second end face of the rear element is joined to the second surface of the piezoelectric element integrally and/or in a force-fit manner. The distance between the first end face and the second end face of the rear element, plus half of the thickness of the piezoelectric element, corresponds to half of the wavelength of a resonance oscillation of the sensor system in the thickness direction.

摘要： A piezoelectric sounding component includes a diaphragm that includes a metal plate and a piezoelectric body formed on the metal plate. The diaphragm bends and vibrates according to application of voltage to the piezoelectric body. A casing that includes a bottom wall, side walls, and a supporting portion to support the diaphragm in inside edge portions of the side walls. The side walls extending from edges of the bottom wall in a thickness direction and includes a first wall, a second wall positioned to face the first wall, and a third wall positioned between the first wall. Two or more terminals that are formed on the first wall or the third wall serve to apply voltage to the diaphragm. Two or more elastic adhesives join the side walls and the diaphragm between the two or more terminals and the diaphragm. Two or more conductive adhesives are formed on the two or more elastic adhesives and join the two or more terminals and the diaphragm. The diaphragm is supported by the supporting portion and accommodated in the casing so that a gap formed between the first wall and the diaphragm is smaller than a gap formed between the second wall and the diaphragm.

摘要： An ultrasonic sensor has: a diaphragm that includes at least two partial regions for emitting and/or receiving ultrasonic signals, the two partial regions possessing different resonance characteristics; and at least one electromechanical transducer coupled to the diaphragm, to which transducer a control signal having at least two different control signal frequencies is applied. In this context, a first control signal frequency is in the range of a resonant frequency of a first partial region of the diaphragm, and a second control signal frequency is in the range of a resonant frequency of a second partial region of the diaphragm. Alternatively, two electromechanical transducers are used, which are coupled to a diaphragm and have different resonance characteristics.

The shock-absorbing material, at least partly, is disposed on a first region of the flexible substrate which overlaps with the piezoelectric element.

摘要： A networked visual and audible alarm apparatus with base station provides audible and visual alerts upon detection of smoke, carbon monoxide, and gas. The apparatus adapts to a light bulb socket to provide normal lighting when no event is detected. Multiple apparatuses are systematically disposed through different sections of a structure. Each apparatus independently emits an audible signal, dependent on the type of event detected in the respective section for the apparatus. Each alarm apparatus provides a colored high strobe light that illuminates at a color and intensity that varies, dependent on type of event detected. A microphone initiates the audible signal and the high strobe light upon detecting an audible signal from an adjacent alarm apparatus. Voice commands power off the alarming apparatus. A base station controls and monitors a network of apparatuses, and is programmable based on a code that is assigned to each alarm apparatus.
