    • A method involves: identifying a natural expression from a user and obtaining a certain form of language information which can be processed by a computer; and converting the identified and obtained language information to a standard expression in an encoded form. According to an example method, a natural expression is converted to an encoded standard expression; conversion to a standard expression is converting the semantics of a natural expression to encoding and parameters; precise verbatim translation is not necessary, thus the requirement for degree of accuracy of machine translation can be reduced; at the same time, the complexity of the database used for expression conversion (machine translation) is reduced, increasing data query and update speed and thus improving smart processing performance. Furthermore, the relatively simple encoded expression reduces the workload for manually-assisted interventions, increasing the efficiency of the work of manually-assisted interventions.

    • An audio device and a method thereof are provided. The method is adopted by an audio device to detect a voice, wherein the audio device is coupled to a host device. The method includes an acoustic conversion circuit converting an acoustic wave into an analog audio signal; an analog-to-digital converter (ADC) converting the analog audio signal into digital audio data; a first-level voice detection circuit detecting voice activity in the analog audio signal; a second-level voice detection circuit detecting a beginning syllable of a key phrase in the digital audio data when the voice activity is detected in the digital audio data; and a third-level voice detection circuit detecting the key phrase from the digital audio data only when the beginning syllable of the key phrase is detected in the digital audio data.

    • A triple factor authentication in one step method and system is disclosed. According to one embodiment, an Integrated Voice Biometrics Cloud Security Gateway (IVCS Gateway) intercepts an access request to a resource server from a user using a user device. IVCS Gateway then authenticates the user by placing a call to the user device and sending a challenge message prompting the user to respond by voice. After receiving the voice sample of the user, the voice sample is compared against a stored voice biometrics record for the user. The voice sample is also converted into a text phrase and compared against a stored secret text phrase. In an alternative embodiment, an IVCS Gateway that is capable of making non-binary access decisions and associating multiple levels of access with a single user or group is described.
