    • Trimming by disconnecting a fuse connected in parallel to a feedback resistor of an amplifier circuit would cause a variation in voltage value due to a remaining resistance component. A voltage generator circuit is provided therein with a D/A converter circuit of an R-2R ladder resistor network type circuit. The D/A converter circuit is provided with a first switch circuit to an eighth switch circuit, corresponding to each bit, which are switched to set a digital value. Each switch circuit, which is provided with a fuse for providing a fixed voltage value, allows the fuse to be disconnected to fix the voltage value to a value obtained by inverting the initial value. The setting circuit controls the switching operation of each switch circuit, thereby simulating an electrical state of a fuse being disconnected before the fuse is actually disconnected.

    • An electron emitter assembly and a method for adjusting a power level of an electron beam are provided. The electron emitter assembly includes a laser configured to emit a first light beam. The electron emitter assembly further includes a light-attenuating device configured to receive the first light beam and to attenuate the first light beam between a first light intensity and a second light intensity greater than the first light intensity. The electron emitter assembly further includes a photo-cathode configured to receive the first light beam from the light-attenuating device. The photo-cathode is further configured to emit a first electron beam having a first power level in response to receiving the first light beam having the first light intensity. The photo-cathode is further configured to emit a second electron beam having a second power level greater than the first power level in response to receiving the first light beam having the second light intensity. The electron emitter assembly further includes an anode configured to receive the first and second electrons beams from the photo-cathode.

    • A novel microorganism capable of producing organic acids, Mannheimia sp. 55E, and a process for producing organic acid through anaerobic and aerobic incubation using the novel microorganism are provided. The method of producing an organic acid using the microorganism involves incubating Mannheimia sp. 55E with Accession Number KCTC 0769BP in a medium under anaerobic or aerobic conditions and obtaining an organic acid from the medium. Mannheimia sp. 55E produces succinic acid, lactic acid, and formic acid under anaerobic conditions saturated with CO2, and succinic acid, lactic acid, acetic acid, and formic acid under aerobic or N2 anaerobic conditions. Mannheimia sp. 55E is a facultative anaerobe tolerant of oxygen. Thus, the use of Mannheimia sp. 55E in producing organic acids can eliminate a problem of process instability, which would occur by the presence of oxygen in a fermentation process of producing organic acids using an obligate anaerobic microorganism.
