摘要： The present invention relates to a method and apparatus for processing a video signal, which can increase the accuracy of the motion vector prediction through motion vector scaling which takes a difference in the temporal distance between reference pictures into consideration. To this end, the present invention provides a video signal processing method and a video signal processing apparatus using the same, and the method comprises the steps of: scaling at least one neighboring partition motion vector for a motion vector prediction of the current partition; scaling the neighboring partition motion vector, which has been selected, when the reference picture of the neighboring partition motion vector is different from the reference picture of the current partition; acquiring a motion vector prediction value of the current partition using the scaled motion vector; and acquiring a motion vector of the current partition using the motion vector prediction value.

The stereoscopic image display includes a display panel that displays a two-dimensional (2D) image data in a 2D mode and display a three-dimensional (3D) image data in a 3D mode, a backlight unit providing light to the display panel, a backlight controller that reduces a duty ratio of the backlight unit in a 3D mode lower than a duty ratio set in the 2D mode, and increases a forward current supplied to light sources of the backlight unit in the 3D mode greater than a forward current set in the 2D mode, and a light source driver driving the light sources of the backlight unit.

The control voltage generator generates a discharge control voltage to be applied to a discharge control line at a slight-on level, which is higher than a gate low voltage and is lower than a gate high voltage, and periodically reduces the discharge control voltage to a level of the gate low voltage in the 3D mode. The control voltage compensator receives the discharge control voltage from the control voltage generator, amplifies a feedback discharge control voltage supplied from a first part of a display panel based on the received discharge control voltage, and applies the amplified feedback discharge control voltage, as a compensated discharge control voltage, to a second part opposite the first part of the display panel.

An image-decoding method comprises: a step of filtering an n upper reference pixel of a block to be predicted and neighboring pixels of the n upper reference pixel so as to obtain the filtered n upper reference pixel; and a step of filtering an n left reference pixel of a block to be predicted and neighboring pixels of the n left reference pixel so as to obtain the filtered n left reference pixel. According to the present invention, intra-prediction may be efficiently performed to improve image-encoding/decoding efficiency.
