    • A method for allowing a selection of any portion or all of one or more webpages for conversion and display as an image at a user interface screen and a system for updating the selected portions so that the user is kept up-to-date on changes taking place on the selected webpage URL's without navigating to them. The system periodically queries the webpage to determine if the website has changed, and creates an updates image to replace the image when the website has changed. This method of allowing user selected webpage aggregation onto one or more user accessible pages gives the user the ability to read and overview a multitude of information sources quickly at one location, while using fewer resources compared to opening a plurality of browser instances on the user's computer.

    • The present device relates to a sensor capable of detecting changes in the electromagnetic field it generates when in proximity to either conductive or nonconductive materials. This occurs by way of oscillating a transmit coil with an electro motive force at a resonant frequency thus creating an electromagnetic field. The magnetic field passes through a target of either conductive or nonconductive material and is then intercepted by a receive coil which likewise oscillates at a resonant frequency, which when in proximity to the transmit coil and transmit coils resonant frequency produces an enhanced signal by way of the interaction of the respective resonant frequencies and receive coil output.

    • A fluid transmission linear actuator having a chamber with a cylindrical boundary and a central axis. An output plunger has a head in the boundary. A neck is formed on the chamber with a passage entering it. An input plunger is axially movable in the neck. The input plunger and the ouput plunger are coaxial. A transmission capsule has a continuous skin forming a first reentrant fold between the output plunger and the boundary, and a second reentrant fold between the neck and the input plunger. A substantially incompressible fluid fills the capsule so that movement of either plunger results in proportional movement of the other plunger. This input plunger can be formed with an exponential surface so that its movement can result in a non-linear response, or in some circumstances can provide a linear output in response to a non-linear input.

    • The present invention provides a method of providing manipulated content to a user from a website page. The method identifies the location and size of defined regions within a website page, such as document division elements. The site page is built on a virtual display, and a site page coordinate system is established to locate the defined region relative to an origin. The site page is then converted to an image file, where an image file coordinate system corresponds to the site page coordinate system to permit the locating and mapping of the defined regions images on the image file, for cropping and so that the original hyperlinks can be reassociated with the defined regions images. Individual defined regions images in cropped form may be communicated to and positioned on a user interface. An updated image may compared with the original image to determine if the content has changed.
