摘要： Method and radio node (500) for controlling a change of communication mode between transmit mode and receive mode according to a Time Division Duplex, TDD, scheme. The radio node has at least two parallel branches (504, 06) for transmission and reception of radio signals, wherein the branches currently operate in a first communication mode. The radio node obtains one or more indication signals (S1A, S1B) generated by one or more of the branches to indicate that the first mode has been turned off. When it is determined that the first communication mode has not been turned off in a faulty branch, e.g. by not receiving an indication signal in time from that branch, the first mode is disabled in the faulty branch, and/or the faulty branch is reported to a supervision center (510). Thereby, it can be discovered when one of the branches is misaligned or otherwise faulty and suitable actions can be taken for repairing or replacing the faulty branch.

The control unit (306, 416) activates the switch (308, 418) when the output power of the transmitted signals falls below a threshold, and the delay component (304, 404) delays so that the diverted signals are received by the receiver part (303; 402-405) at a predefined point in time. The transceiver (300) comprises a comparison unit (307, 417) for comparing the diverted signals from the first and second transmitters after reception through the first receiver.

The present invention also relates to a method. The problem addressed is how to convey calibration information from the RE to the REC, when the capacity is occupied by radio IQ samples. The solution is to suppress the IQ samples to get capacity for the calibration information. Various embodiments of the invention focus on reducing the negative impact the suppression of IQ data may have on detecting the signals received.
