A motor rotates the tubular rotating shafts (1) according to the relative movements of the Sun. Positive and negative wires (3a, 3b) conducting electrical energy generated by the photovoltaic panels (2) connected in series of the different single-axis solar trackers (S1-S5) are housed inside one or more of the tubular rotating shafts (1).

摘要： A solar tracker assembly comprises a support column, a torsion beam connected to the support column, a mounting mechanism attached to the torsion beam, a drive system connected to the torsion beam, and a torsion limiter connected to an output of the drive system. When an external force causes a level of torsion on the drive system to exceed a pre-set limit the torsion limiter facilitates rotational movement of the solar tracker assembly in the direction of the torsion, thereby allowing the external force to rotate about a pivot axis extending through the torsion beam. Exemplary embodiments also include methods of aligning a plurality of rows of solar trackers.

A hollowed tube of uniform diameter is open at both ends with a thread form beginning at one end and circumscribing a portion the tube, the thread form having a tapered lead-in. The open-ended geometry allows a mandrel or rock drill to be inserted and operated through the anchor during driving to expedite the driving process. The tapered thread form provides a lead-in for driving the anchor into a rock bore.

摘要： A dual function gearbox generates two separate output rotational motions from a single input rotational motion. First and second rotatable housings comprise corresponding first and second internal gears, with the internal gears having different pitch diameters. A drive shaft is disposed within the housings, extending though openings within opposite sides of housings, with an eccentric rotor disposed around the drive shaft. The eccentric rotor is in operative contact with a differential gear ring comprising first and second external gear rings having different diameters, with the first and second external gear rings engaging corresponding first and second internal gears. When rotational energy is imparted to one end of the drive shaft, the gearing arrangement imparts a rotational motion to either the first or second rotatable housing, with the housing rotating around the other end of the rotating drive shaft, which can extend outside of the dual function gearbox. Thus, the dual function gearbox generates two output motions: high torque rotation of the rotatable housing; and rotation of the drive shaft which can be used as an input rotation to additional dual function gearboxes.

摘要： PV modules and ballast arm assemblies are mounted onto a torque tube suspended from a support structure. The support structures allows torque tube, and mounted PV modules and ballast arm assemblies, to freely rotate. The ballast arm assembly includes a drive mechanism, an arm and a ballast. The drive mechanism allows the adjustment angle between the PV module and the arm and ballast to be changed. Changing the adjustment angle causes the torque tube, and mounted PV modules, to freely rotate to a different orientation angle in order to balance the moments of PV modules and ballast arm assemblies caused by gravity. The orientation angle can be changed throughout the day by changing the adjustment angle in order for the PV modules to track the sun.

摘要： A mechanical solar tracking and solar concentrating system having a Fresnel lens, moveable frame, track, retaining mechanism, and solar collector. The lens focuses solar energy at the collector; the frame holds the collector and lens, keeping them aligned as the frame rotates; and the track guides the frame to maintain a perpendicular orientation to the Sun. The solar collector receives the Sun's rays and the retaining mechanism releases, at established intervals, allowing the frame to rotate to the next location. The cycle repeats, tracking the Sun and concentrating its rays at a focal point, to generate temperatures at the focal point in excess of 500° C. These high temperatures can be exploited in several applications, such as producing drinking water from dirty water; cooking food; disinfecting medical instruments; accelerating fermentation of certain types of flora to produce electricity; generating work for generic purposes; etc.
