摘要： Systems and techniques are provided for tracking puts and takes of inventory items by subjects in an area of real space. A plurality of cameras with overlapping fields of view produce respective sequences of images of corresponding fields of view in the real space. In one embodiment, the system includes first image processors, including subject image recognition engines, receiving corresponding sequences of images from the plurality of cameras. The first image processors process images to identify subjects represented in the images in the corresponding sequences of images. The system includes second image processors, including background image recognition engines, receiving corresponding sequences of images from the plurality of cameras. The second image processors mask the identified subjects to generate masked images. Following this, the second image processors process the masked images to identify and classify background changes represented in the images in the corresponding sequences of images.

摘要： Systems and methods for tracking moving objects in accordance with embodiments of the invention are disclosed. In one embodiment of the invention, an object tracking system comprises a processor, a communications interface, and a memory configured to store an object tracking application. The object tracking application configures the processor to receive a sequence of images; estimate and subtract background pixel values from pixels in a sequence of images; compute sets of summed intensity values for different per frame pixel offsets from a sequence of images; identify summed intensity values from a set of summed intensity values exceeding a threshold; cluster identified summed intensity values exceeding the threshold corresponding to single moving objects; and identify a location of at least one moving object in an image based on at least one summed intensity value cluster.

摘要： Provided are a sonar device, signal processing method, and recording medium which contribute to improvement in target signal detection ability of an operator. The sonar device comprises a signal detection processing unit and a noise suppression processing unit. The signal detection processing unit calculates a direction vector for each frequency cell and also calculates a resultant vector direction obtained by summing up the direction vectors of all the frequency cells. The noise suppression processing unit calculates, for each frequency cell, the difference between the resultant vector orientation and the signal direction of the frequency cell, and performs a first noise suppression process for suppressing stationary noises included in a received signal such that the noise suppression effect be smaller on a signal of a frequency cell whose signal direction has a smaller difference from the resultant vector direction, and be larger on a signal of a frequency cell whose signal direction has a larger difference from the resultant vector direction.

摘要： Techniques for supporting periodic and other location services with Secure User Plane Location (SUPL) and other location architectures are described. The techniques can provide position estimates for a SUPL enabled terminal (SET) to a SUPL agent periodically and/or based on trigger events. A Home SUPL Location Platform (H-SLP) receives from the SUPL agent a request for position estimates for the SET. The H-SLP starts a SUPL location session with the SET. For each of at least one reporting event during the location session, the H-SLP obtains a position estimate for the SET and sends the position estimate to the SUPL agent. The position estimate may be derived by the SET and sent to the H-SLP. Alternatively, the position estimate may be derived by the H-SLP based on measurements from the SET.

The novel system includes a housing, a first mechanism for obtaining position coordinates of the housing, a second mechanism for measuring a pointing angle from the housing toward a target, and a third mechanism for calculating coordinates of the target using the pointing angle and housing coordinates. The system may also include a fourth mechanism for determining a distance between the housing and the target, and a control circuit for receiving a user signal and in response thereto acquiring the housing coordinates, pointing angle, and distance data. The target coordinates may be calculated from the housing coordinates, pointing angle, and distance data, or from two or more sets of position coordinates and corresponding pointing angle data. The system may also include a transmitter for automatically transmitting the target coordinates to a remote weapons system or network.
