摘要： A method of allocating resources for transmitting content from a network element in a communications network to one or more mobile devices each in communication with the network element may include receiving, at the network element, characteristic information corresponding to each of the one or more mobile devices; and generating one or more adaptive guaranteed bit rate (AGBR) values at the network element corresponding to each of the one or more mobile devices, respectively. The AGBR values may be GBR values generated for each of the one or more mobile devices based on the corresponding characteristic information. A first scheduling algorithm may be executed at the network element based on the one or more AGBR values; and resources may be allocated to the one or more mobile devices based on an output of the scheduling algorithm.

摘要： A method comprises receiving a first request for a first segment of a content stream in a network element from a given one of a plurality of clients, determining in the network element whether the first segment is stored in a memory of the network element, sending a second request for the first segment from the network element to a server responsive to the determining step, receiving a response comprising the first segment in the network element from the server responsive to the second request, and sending the first segment from the network element to the given one of the plurality of clients. The first segment is related to a second segment of the content stream, the relationship being transparent to the network element but being inferable based at least in part on at least one of the first request, the response and one or more prior requests.

In one embodiment, the present invention provides service-level interaction between an enterprise network and a non-enterprise network (or networks), thereby enabling enterprise users at remote locations (i.e., at home, on vacation, or at other locations remote from the enterprise location) to use services typically only available to the enterprise users while at the enterprise location (e.g., while in the office). The present invention provides a calendar notification service, whereby a calendar notification originating in an enterprise network is provided to a remote enterprise user via a non-enterprise network. The present invention provides an enterprise dialing plan service, whereby a remote enterprise user may register a remote user device to be able to use an enterprise dialing plan. Once registered, the remote enterprise user may use the enterprise dialing plan from the remote user device to place calls to local enterprise users at local user devices connected to the enterprise network and, similarly, local enterprise users may use the enterprise dialing plan to place calls to the remote enterprise user at the remote user device.

摘要： A method for wet cleaning of the nozzle rings of exhaust-gas turbocharger turbines is based on thermal shock of the contaminants, and includes the steps of injecting water in repeated, relatively small amounts, into the exhaust duct immediately upstream of the nozzle ring. A delay between injections allows the nozzle ring to reheat to operating temperature so that each water injection causes a thermal shock. An apparatus to perform the method includes water injection nozzles installed in the exhaust gas casing and a control system. The method and apparatus provide improved cleaning using less water than in known methods.
