摘要： Described herein is a method of determining lithium responsiveness in a bipolar disorder patient. The method includes obtaining a sample from a patient having bipolar disorder, and assaying the sample for the presence or absence of one or more glutamate decarboxylase-like 1 (GADL1) gene variants selected from the group consisting of a T allele of the single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) rs17026688, a G allele of the SNP rs17026651, and GADL1 1VS8+48delG. The presence of one or more of the GADL1 gene variants indicates that the patient is responsive to lithium treatment.

The invention has a semi-cylindrical main body that rests on a stand, supported by an axle on which it can pivot to track the sun. The stepped solar collectors are on the upper half of the main body and are covered by the mirrors when they fold in. A first embodiment has a battery that stores electricity generated by sunlight and an inverter for converting direct current from the battery to alternating current. A second embodiment has parabolic collectors that heat water to create high pressure steam that is used to generate electricity.

摘要： A device is disclosed for reducing a vertebral compression fracture, comprising a superior end plate and an inferior end plate disposed along a vertical axis. The superior end plate and the inferior end plate are slidably separable in a vertical direction along the vertical axis. In particular, embodiments of such systems and methods may incorporate user generated content into a web page such that the user generated content can be consumed by indexers associated with search engines in association with that web page. Additionally, embodiments may also provide a mechanism by which user generated content may be received and included in a web page when that web page is rendered. Using embodiments as disclosed herein user generated content may be exposed to a search engine indexer in a web page while still providing a mechanism for incorporating the freshest user generated content in such a web page. Embodiments may also improve the ability of search engines or search engine indexers to determine the site of origin for such user content.

摘要： A mechanism is described that enables encrypted end-point communications in a VoIP network to be accessed by a service provider. The mechanism includes a session information retrieval component which gathers session information such as encryption keys for each session that traverses a network element. The encryption keys may be used to decrypt data to make it available for lawful interception. A media stream monitoring component monitors media streams and verifies that the identified keys for each session are valid, to ensure continuity in compliance with LI regulations. Advantageously a security alert component may be used to controls further session operation for those sessions identified as potential security risks. With such an arrangement, the service provider can satisfy the legal requirement to provide interception, verify that the accuracy of the legal interception support and take appropriate steps to handle security risks.
