摘要： A composite yarn is provided which comprises a core and a covering layer formed by wrapping a covering fiber around the core, the core being composed of a metal thin wire and an attending yarn comprising a filament yarn, wherein the attending yarn is wound around the metal thin wire at 5 to 60 turns per meter of the metal thin wire. A cut-resistant glove formed of the composite yarn is also provided. The composite yarn of the present invention is preferably usable for protective products such as protective fabrics, protective clothes, protective aprons and protective gloves used for protecting workers and a cut-resistant glove formed of the composite fiber is excellent not only in moisture absorption property, but also in putting-on-feeling, use feeling and workability in the state of being put on.

摘要： Coaxial and twisted pair conductive yarn structures reduce signal crosstalk between adjacent lines in woven electrical networks. A coaxial conductive yarn structure includes an inner conductive yarn having a plurality of conductive strands twisted together. An outer conductive yarn is wrapped around the inner conductive yarn. An insulating layer separates the inner and outer yarns. A twisted pair conductive yarn structure includes first and second conductive yarns, each including a plurality of conductive strands being twisted together. The first and second conductive yarns are twisted together to form a helical structure. In a woven electrical network, at least one conductor of adjacent conductive yarn structures is connected to ground to reduce signal crosstalk. Coaxial and twisted pair yarn structures may also be formed simultaneously with weaving or knitting the threads that make up the structures into a fabric.

摘要： A rope and method of making the same. The rope is adapted to engage a structural member and comprises a plurality of yarns. At least one of the yarns comprises a first set of first fibers and a second set of fibers. The first and second sets of fibers are combined using a false twisting process such that the second fibers do not extend the length of the rope and the second fibers indirectly bear tension loads on the rope. The first fibers substantially determine load bearing properties of the rope. The second fibers substantially determine abrasion resistance properties and a coefficient of friction of the rope. Abrasion resistance properties of the second fibers are greater than abrasion resistance properties of the first fibers. A coefficient of friction of the second fibers is less than a coefficient of friction of the first fibers.

摘要： The present invention relates to a covered yarn for constituting at least a portion of a remedial-support article. In accordance with the invention, the covered yarn is formed of an elastic central core of translucent material, and of at least one covering yarn, likewise of translucent material, and wrapped around the central core. The invention also provides a remedial-support article in which at least the essential portion is constituted by the above-specified covered yarn. In particular, when the remedial-support article comprises a knitted face yarn and a weft yarn, it is advantageous for the weft yarn to be constituted by the above-specified covered yarn, the face yarn itself being constituted either by a traditional yarn, or else likewise by the above-specified covered yarn.
