摘要： Disclosed herein is a method for electrostatic printing, wherein the method comprises (a) providing an ink composition comprising particles comprising a resin, wherein the ink composition contains less than 0.3 mg of charge director per g of solids in the ink composition; (b) passing the ink composition between a first electrode and a developer roller, wherein sufficient potential is applied between the developer roller and the electrode such that the resin particles are charged and adhere to the developer roller; (c) transferring at least some of the particles from the developer roller to a photoimaging plate to form an image on the photoimaging plate; and (d) transferring the image from the photoimaging plate to a print medium. Also disclosed here is an apparatus for carrying out the method, and a print medium printed using the method.

摘要： Methods of enhancing one or more physical properties of a thermoplastic film include incrementally stretching thermoplastic films in the machine direction and/or transverse direction. In one or more implementations, methods of incrementally stretching thermoplastic films include reducing the gauge of the films without reducing the films' machine-direction tear resistance. The methods can involve cold stretching the films and imparting rib patterns into the film. The linear ribs can have alternating thick and thin gauges. Incrementally stretched thermoplastic films can have a machine-direction tear resistance that is approximately equal to or greater than the machine-direction tear resistance of the film prior to stretching.

Similarly, co-injection molded articles and containers that may result from the foregoing mold, apparatus, and methods are disclosed.

摘要： This invention relates to an aqueous polymer composition and to films formed from this aqueous composition. The aqueous composition may be used in a method for removing contaminate material from a substrate. The aqueous polymer composition may comprise: water; and at least one water-soluble film forming polymer. In one embodiment, the aqueous composition may further comprise at least one chelating agent and/or at least one surfactant. The aqueous polymer composition may be applied to a contaminated substrate or to a clean substrate which is subjected to subsequent contamination. The aqueous composition may be dehydrated and/or the polymer may be crosslinked to form a film. When applied to a contaminated substrate, the film may combine with the contaminates. When applied to a clean substrate, the contaminate material may subsequently contact and adhere to the film. The film combined with the contaminate material may be separated from the substrate, with the result being removal of the contaminate material from the substrate.

摘要： A monoaxially oriented film including a metallized layer; a gas barrier layer; and a propylene-based random copolymer and at least about 3 wt % of a low density polyethylene which is oriented at least about 2.5 times in one direction and exhibits excellent linear directional tear properties parallel to the orientation direction and excellent heat seal performance in terms of high heat seal strengths and low seal initiation temperature. This film formulation and orientation is suitable for pouch applications requiring high gas and moisture barrier, an “easy-tear” linear tear feature, and excellent hermetic seal properties.
