摘要： A carbon molecular sieve (CMS) membrane may advantageously be made by pyrolyzing a membrane precursor composition comprised of a carbon forming polymer (e.g., polyimide) blended with a polyvinylidene chloride copolymer (PVDC), the polyvinylidene chloride copolymer being the reaction product of at least 60% to 97% by weight of vinylidene chloride and at least one other comonomer and the carbon forming polymer to polyvinylidene chloride copolymer has a weight ratio of greater than 1 to 99. The membrane precursor composition may be formed by dissolving the carbon forming polymer and PVDC in a solvent to form a dope solution. The dope solution may be shaped, for example, into an asymmetric hollow fiber. The asymmetric hollow fiber may be heated to a temperature to dehydrochorinate the PVDC and then subsequently heated in a non-oxidizing atmosphere to carbonize the polymers of the shaped membrane to form the CMS membrane.

摘要： The invention relates to a sinterable polymer composition, comprising: a random copolymer of propylene and an olefinic comonomer, containing about 2 to 10 wt % olefinic comonomer content, relative to 100 wt % of the random copolymer. The sinterable polymer composition may also contain at least one of a clarifier and a nucleator, and/or at least one additive selected from the group consisting of a primary antioxidant, a secondary antioxidant, an acid scavenger, a peroxide, an enhanced IR energy absorber, a long-term heat agent, and a polyolefin elastomer. The sinterable polymer composition has a melt flow rate from about 1 to 150 g/10 min (230° C./2.16 kg), measured according to ASTM D 1238; a crystallization temperature, Tc, from about 105 to 150° C.; and a xylene solubles content, XS, from about 3% to 40%.

摘要： The present invention relates to a three-dimensional (3D) printing system for manufacturing an artificial blood vessel and a method for manufacturing an artificial blood vessel using the same, wherein a cylindrical support having a hollow 3D porous structure including a thermoplastic polymer is manufactured and vertically fixed, and a hydrogel divided into at least two sections is discharged into the support, thereby maintaining the structure and shape constantly even after printing and manufacturing an artificial blood vessel having a hollow multilayered structure. The 3D printing system for manufacturing an artificial blood vessel comprises: a rotatable support manufacturing unit which forms a hollow cylindrical support having a 3D porous structure by discharging a polymer to the outer circumference thereof through a first head; a first head which forms a hollow cylindrical support having a 3D porous structure by discharging a polymer to the support manufacturing unit; a support vertically holding the hollow cylindrical support manufactured through the first head; and a second head which discharges a hydrogel, divided into at least two sections, into the cylindrical support vertically held and fixed to the support.

摘要： A method includes injection molding a preform using a two phase injection system having a first phase in which a material is injected into the preform and a second phase in which the material is injected into the preform. The preform is disposed in a mold. The preform is blow molded into an intermediate article. The intermediate article is trimmed to form a finished container. The first phase includes injecting a material into the preform to form a single layer of the preform and the second phase includes injecting the material to form inner and outer layers and an intermediate layer between the inner and outer layers. The inner and outer layers include the material and the intermediate layer includes at least one additive. Finished containers are disclosed.
