摘要： A method and system parses natural language in a unique way, determining important words pertaining to a text corpus of a particular genre, such as tax preparation. Sentences extracted from instructions or forms pertaining to tax preparation, for example are parsed to determine word groups forming various parts of speech, and then are processed to exclude words on an exclusion list and word groups that don't meet predetermined criteria. From the resulting data, synonyms are replaced with a common functional operator and the resulting sentence text is analyzed against predetermined patterns to determine one or more functions to be used in a document preparation system.

摘要： A computer-implemented method of responding to a conversational event is presented. The method comprises receiving a conversational event at a conversational computing interface. Based on the received conversational event, an applicable generation rule of a plurality of candidate generation rules is selected. The applicable generation rule is configured with one or more parameters. A computer-executable plan is then selected based on the selected generation rule. The one or more parameters are passed from the selected generation rule to one or more additional generation rules. The one or more additional generation rules configured with the one or more parameters are recursively applied to extend the selected computer-executable plan. One or more candidate responses to the conversational event are output via the conversational computing interface based on the recursive application of the one or more additional generation rules configured with the one or more parameters.

The embodiments register, through a computer system, familial relationships within a family and represent the familial relationships in structured data stored in memory. Based on the represented familial relationships, embodiments receive information for enrolling children of the family in activities, such as via online provider-specific and state licensing forms, and store the enrollment information associated to the represented familial relationships in the memory. Upon user command, the embodiments search the stored enrollment information based on the represented familial relationships to determine a schedule of enrolled activities across each of the children. In response to searching, the embodiments determine a new activity suitable for a given child and at an available time in the determined schedule and through the system notify a parent user of the system of the new activity.

The templates can be used to generate and send finalized RCS messages, such as text messages, rich cards, and so forth, by invoking a generated template and providing data for any parameterized fields in the template.
