    • An endpin support 1 as an example of a musical instrument support to which the present invention is applied includes a lower plate member 2, an upper plate member 3, middle plate members 4, and a load receiving member 5. The lower plate member 2 is a portion that vibrates by resonating with sounds of a musical instrument and spreads vibrancy of the sounds. The lower plate member 2 and the upper plate member 3 are joined at a position at which their one end sides are aligned by two middle plate members 4 to form a main body portion 6 that receives a load when supporting an endpin. The two middle plate members 4 are provided at positions of both ends of the lower plate member 2, and a space is formed between the lower plate member 2 and the upper plate member 3.

    • A turning peg structure equipped with changeable faceplate to drive a winding shaft assembly of a string instrument to adjust the tightness of a string. The turning peg structure includes a bracket, at least one first faceplate, at least one second faceplate and a linking rod. The bracket includes a plate and a passage embedded in and run through the plate. The plate includes a first side and a second side opposite to the first side. The first faceplate includes a first connecting portion connected to the first side of the bracket. The second faceplate includes a second connecting portion connected to the second side of the bracket. The linking rod has one end located in the passage and another end engaged with the winding shaft assembly. Through the bracket, the turning peg structure does not lose string adjustment function due to damage thereof.

    • A mount for the improved engagement of a tremolo arm with a pivoting bridge of a stringed instrument is provided. The mount features a body having a first side adapted for an engagement with a surface of the bridge. The arm is engageable to conventional bridges or may be employed with an arm mount having a centered attachment point and can include a biasing washer to maintain a position of the tremolo arm relative to the mount. A tremolo arm mount is provided at a central portion of the body relative to the width of a pathway followed by the strings projecting from the bridge toward the neck of the stringed instrument.

    • A stringed musical instrument has a molded sound box and neck where the sound box is formed of between 20% to 60% carbon fibers, or other suitable fibers, and a polymeric resin or binder. The composition of materials utilized in the sound box is selected to increase stiffness and to control the tone of the instrument. The sound box includes an adjustable attachment mechanism having a pivot which is used to secure the neck to the sound box. The sound box includes a molded bracing structure having a plurality of braces and a molded bridge having a plurality of pockets which are used to enhance the structure for the sound box and provide a desired tone quality for the stringed instrument. The neck may include a molded neck insert and a molded fingerboard which are used to enhance the stiffness and stability of the neck.

    • The invention helps build a practical telescopic gauge to measure length and end angles needed for sound post in stringed instrument. It shows improvements of telescopic type gauge where, first adding a spring to control force while extending or reducing length and second adding rounded members at least one end of the gauge overcome difficulties in measuring the length. Further a three part swivel end consisting of ball, swivel cap and resolution plate held together by magnetic force allow satisfactory angle measurement. Because magnetic force is used, the swivel end parts can be removed leaving rounded ball end open for length measurements, then other components are added as required. This type of swivel end is also useful in improving currently available caliper type gauge.
