The processor is to: receive, via the network interface, a plurality of data streams to be routed over a network, wherein the plurality of data streams correspond to sensor data captured by a plurality of sensors; identify, from the plurality of data streams, a set of related data streams that are contextually related; identify a convergence function to be performed on the set of related data streams, wherein the convergence function is for transforming the set of related data streams into a converged data stream that is smaller in size than the set of related data streams; perform the convergence function to transform the set of related data streams into the converged data stream; and route, via the network interface, the converged data stream to one or more corresponding destinations over the network.

摘要： Techniques are described for facilitating flow symmetry using a scalable service platform that anchors the service chain. The scalable service platform may facilitate flow symmetry and, at least in some cases, flow stickiness for a first packet flow (a “forward packet flow”) and a second, related packet flow (a “reverse packet flow”) both traversing the service chain in the forward and reverse directions, respectively. For example, a virtualized computing infrastructure may deploy a scalable service platform to perform load balancing of multiple forward packet flows, received from the gateway, among multiple parallel service instances for an ingress service in a service chain. For each corresponding reverse packet flows for the multiple forward packet flows, the scalable service platform load balances the reverse packet flow to the service instance for the egress service in the service chain that is applied to the corresponding forward packet flow.

摘要： Some embodiments provide a method for handling failure at one of several peer centralized components of a logical router. At a first one of the peer centralized components of the logical router, the method detects that a second one of the peer centralized components has failed. In response to the detection, the method automatically identifies a network layer address of the failed second peer. The method assumes responsibility for data traffic to the failed peer by broadcasting a message on a logical switch that connects all of the peer centralized components and a distributed component of the logical router. The message instructs recipients to associate the identified network layer address with a data link layer address of the first peer centralized component.

The method includes: dividing a computing power resource into a slow variable-granularity computing power resource and a fast variable-granularity computing power service, wherein the slow variable-granularity computing power resource is used for indicating a computing power resource of which the resource state change frequency is lower than a preset threshold value, and the fast variable-granularity computing power service is used for indicating a refined computing power resource of which the resource state change frequency is higher than the preset threshold value; and notifying, in a first mode, the slow variable-granularity computing power resource to a network edge node or a data center gateway, and notifying, in a second mode, the fast variable-granularity computing power service to a network edge node in a domain where the network edge node or the data center gateway is located. By using the above method, it is possible to solve the problem in the related art that the computing power resources of different types and different state change frequencies are all incorporated into routing table entries maintained by a network node, resulting in an exponential growth in the routing table entries, and thus causing a damage to the routing convergence efficiency.

摘要： Techniques for using global virtual network instance (VNI) labels in a multi-domain network to route network data with a multi-tenant network overlay are described herein. A routing device provisioned in a network domain of the multi-domain network may register with a service discovery system of the network domain for use of network configuration data to establish routes through the multi-domain network with network nodes. Each network domain of the multi-domain network may include an application programming interface (API) server for processing API requests to make changes to configurations of a network domain. A border gateway protocol (BGP) large community may be utilized to encode global VNI labels, network addresses, local next hop nodes, and/or additional network information and sent to routing devices provisioned in separate network domains. A service chain may be signaled by global VNI labels to route network traffic through various services prior to reaching a destination endpoint.

摘要： Failover functionality is by identifying at least two network paths for a media communications session between a virtual machine at a computing environment and a client application. Unique Internet Protocol (IP) addresses are assigned for the at least two network paths. Based on application and network metrics at the computing environment, a network condition at the computing environment is determined that is indicative of a performance degradation of the media communications session. A signal is communicated to the client service indicating a switch to a second path of the at least two network paths and a second of the unique IP addresses.

摘要： In one embodiment, distributed data storage systems and methods integrate a change tracking manager with scalable databases. According to one embodiment, a computer implemented method comprises integrating change tracking of storage objects into the distributed object storage database that includes a first database of a first type and one or more chapter databases of a second type with the distributed object storage database supporting a primary lookup index and a secondary lookup index in order to locate a storage object. The method includes recording in a header of a chapter database a network topology for connecting a bucket having the chapter database to a first peer bucket when a new mirror to the first peer bucket is being established, and recording a first directive into the header of the chapter database to express a type of content to be mirrored from the bucket to the first peer bucket.
