摘要： A predoping technique considered as highly practicable is an electrochemical method in which predoping is performed by assembling a battery such that an active material (electrode) and lithium are brought into direct contact with each other or short-circuited therebetween via an electric circuit, and by filling an electrolytic solution in the battery. However, in this case, much time is required, and there are problems such as the handling and the thickness accuracy of an extremely thin lithium metal foil that is not greater than 30 μm thick. By mixing a lithium-dopable material and lithium metal together in the presence of a solvent, such problems can be solved.

The cathode can include a second mixture having a second plurality of electrically conductive carbon-comprising particles having a second average porosity greater than said first average porosity. The electrolyte can be physically and electrically contacting said anode and said cathode, and the first mixture in the cycled charged state can be substantially free of lithium metal particles and can further include a plurality of lithium ions intercalating the first plurality of carbon comprising particles. The mass ratio of the cathode and the electrolyte can be less than 1.

The fluid flow distribution feature is configured to control at least one of a volume of flow of the first fluid through the first flow channels and a volume of flow of the second fluid through the second flow channels, wherein at least one of a flow distribution of the first fluid across the first plate and a flow distribution of the second fluid across the second plate is varied.

摘要： A process for conditioning an electrochemical cell system comprising at least two electrochemical cells comprises selecting from the fuel electrodes of the electrochemical cells groups comprising: a charged group and a reset group. The process also comprises holding the fuel electrodes within the charged group at a predetermined state of charge associated with a set concentration of metal fuel ions in solution in the ionically conductive medium. The process further comprises resetting the fuel electrodes within the reset group. An electrochemical cell system includes a plurality of fuel electrodes and one or more controllers configured to regulate the concentration of reducible metal fuel ions in solution with an ionically conductive medium by maintaining a predetermined state of charge of at least one of the fuel electrodes, and initiate a charging, discharging, or resetting process on at least one other fuel electrode. 摘要： Disclosed is a method for manufacturing an electrode for an electrochemical element, that is capable of forming an electrode active material layer on a current collector, particularly a perforated current collector having through-holes extended from the obverse surface to the reverse surface thereof, such as a punching metal or an expanded metal, simply, evenly and with good adhesion. The method is characterized by comprising the steps of (1) forming an electrode active material layer on a surface of a base material by using an electrode composition containing an electrode active material, an electroconductive material, and a binder, (2) laminating a current collector on the electrode active material layer formed on the surface of the base material, followed by hot pressing to bond the electrode active material layer and the current collector to each other, and (3) separating the base material from the electrode active material layer.
