摘要： Disclosed are plasticized, water-soluble films having favorable cold-water solubility, wet handling, and thermoforming characteristics, and which can include a PVOH resin made up of blend of two or more PVOH polymers each having a monomodal molecular weight distribution, and the PVOH resin characterized by a viscosity in a range of about 13.5 cP to about 20 cP (or a corresponding weight average molecular weight), a degree of hydrolysis of about 84% to about 92%, a polydispersity index value in a range of about 1 to about 5, a residual water content of about 4 wt. % to about 10 wt. %, and a Resin Selection Index value in a range of 0.255 to 0.315; methods of making the films; compositions including PVOH resins for making the films; and pouch and packet articles made from the films.

摘要： A method of removing cooked-, baked-, or burnt-on food soil from cookware and tableware comprising washing the cookware/tableware in an automatic dishwashing machine in the presence of an organic solvent system having a volatile organic content of less than about 50% by weight and a wash liquor concentration of from about 100 ppm to about 10000 ppm. The method includes the storage and delivery of organic solvent compositions and dishwashing detergent composition from multi-compartment containers. The method provides excellent removal of stubborn soils which are very difficult to remove in a conventional automatic dishwashing process.

摘要： A process for preparing a high density detergent-composition is provided. The process comprises the steps of:a) drying detergent agglomerates to a free moisture content of less than about 7% by weight thereby forming substantially dry detergent agglomerates; andb) charging the substantially dry detergent agglomerates into a moderate speed mixer/densifier to densify the substantially dry detergent agglomerates to form a high density detergent having a density of at least about 900 g/l. In preferred embodiments, the process also comprises forming hydrated detergent agglomerates via the steps of hydrating an anhydrous hydratable detergent salt to a degree of hydration of at least about 60% and agglomerating the hydrated detergent salt by charging the hydrated detergent salt and additional detergent ingredients into a high speed mixer/densifier and agglomerating the hydrated detergent salt and additional detergent ingredients to form hydrated detergent agglomerates.
