A power unit controller controls supply of electric power from a power unit to a radiation detector and/or components of the radiation detecting cassette based on a checking result from the ID checker.

摘要： When a cassette transceiver starts to transmit radiation image information to a console transceiver, the cassette transceiver transmits a test radio wave, and the console transceiver calculates a minimum transmission radio-field intensity of said cassette transceiver which is required to receive the radiation image information from a received intensity of said test radio wave, and transmits a command radio wave representing the calculated minimum transmission radio-field intensity as a command to said cassette transceiver. The cassette transceiver is thus capable of transmitting the radiation image information at the commanded minimum transmission radio-field intensity. The consumption of electric power for transmitting the radiation image information from the cassette transceiver to the console transceiver is thus minimized.

摘要： A radiation imaging system is equipped with a radiation imaging apparatus and a control apparatus. The radiation imaging apparatus reads out image signals from a radiation detecting section that detects radiation which has passed through a subject, and outputs the read out image signals as wireless signals. The control apparatus outputs predetermined control signals to the radiation imaging apparatus as wireless signals. A second wireless communicating section of the control apparatus decreases the signal strength of communications to be lower during readout of the image signals than at times other than during readout of image signals.

摘要： A signal detector detects signals transmitted from signal generators disposed in a radiation detecting cassette, and a distance calculator calculates the distance between a radiation source and a radiation detector based on the signals detected by the signal detector. A determining unit determines whether the detected distance matches a predetermined distance from the radiation source to the radiation detector when a radiation image is captured. If the detected distance does not match the predetermined distance, the determining unit outputs, to a warning unit, a warning signal indicating that the detected distance does not match the predetermined distance, and also outputs a control signal for equalizing the detected distance with the predetermined distance, to a radiation source movement controller.

In the present invention, a console checks a cassette ID (specified cassette ID) sent from an RIS server as the cassette ID of a radiation detecting cassette that is planned to be used to capture a radiation image, and a cassette ID (actual cassette ID) that is read by the console from a radiation detecting cassette which is placed in an operating room or an image capturing room and which is to be actually used to capture a radiation image, with each other.
