    • A gas-insulated high-voltage switch for the interruption of large currents includes a housing, a contact arrangement which is arranged in the housing and has two switching pieces which can be moved relative to one another along an axis. Each switching piece has a rated current contact and an arcing contact. The switch includes a drive which acts on a first of the two switching pieces. The switch includes a device configured to detect and indicate the contact wear of the two arcing contacts caused by the action of the arc. The device has an indicator arranged outside the housing. In the switch, the remaining life which is determined by the contact wear of the arcing contacts is detected and indicated by a simple mechanical mechanism. The device has a transmission mechanism which is fed through the housing in a gas-tight manner and a drive member coupled to the operating element.

    • Exemplary embodiments are directed to a circuit breaker arrangement for medium voltage to high voltage applications. The circuit breaker includes at least one pole part housing for accommodating a vacuum insert, within which a pair of corresponding electrical contacts is coaxially arranged. A fixed electrical contact is electrically connected to an upper terminal of the pole part housing and an axial movable electrical contact is electrically connected to a lower terminal of the pole part housing and is operated by an insulating pushrod. The insulating pushrod extends through a shielding plate arranged on a lower opening of the pole part housing. The shielding plate includes a rigid moulded plastic insulating material.     • A method for single-phase islanding detection in a three-phase electricity network, can include supplying power into a three-phase electricity network (EN) by a power supply assembly (PSA), the electricity network (EN) having a network voltage, and providing a stimulus signal into a positive sequence electric quantity of the electricity network, the positive sequence electric quantity being current, power or a derived quantity thereof. A single phase islanding condition is detected in the electricity network (EN) if the magnitude and/or rate of change of the indicative element exceeds a predetermined limit value.

The computation of the gradient and/or the projection is performed in parallel in more than one computing unit.
