摘要： Apparatus and method are provided for tying together an URL request to a function in the database which returns media data. The invention provides for apparatus that receives a URL request for BLOB data from a web client and receives dynamic values specific to the web client from the web client. The URL is parsed to determine the function in a database and, if they exist, any parameters. A call is made to the function in the database specified in the URL and, if they exist, with parameters specified in the URL and with the dynamic values from the web client. The result can be streamed to the user.

The computer generates a data visualization by executing a data visualization data flow graph comprising a directed graph having a plurality of nodes. Each of the nodes specifies either a data retrieval operation or a data transformation operation and the data visualization comprises visual marks having a first set of characteristics, including a first mark type and one or more first visual mark encodings. A user specifies a second mark type and/or one or more second visual mark encodings. In response, the computer updates a portion, less than all, of the data flow graph according to the second mark type and/or the one or more second visual mark encodings, and generates an updated data visualization by executing updated nodes of the data flow graph without executing nodes not updated according to the user input.

According to a particular embodiment, there is a system having at least a processor and a memory therein, wherein the system is configurable with means for: operating a blockchain interface to a blockchain on behalf of a plurality of customers of the host organization, in which each of the plurality of customers operate as a participating node on the blockchain; receiving a read request for data stored on the blockchain from a user authenticated with the host organization; issuing a write transaction to the blockchain specifying both (i) the user and (ii) the read request; in which the write transaction automatically triggers execution of a smart contract to enforce access controls for the user; attaining consensus from the participating nodes of the blockchain for the write transaction at the blockchain pursuant to the access controls for the user being validated by the smart contract as allowing the user to read the data identified by the read request, in which the write transaction is added to the blockchain with an indication the user has permission to read the data identified by the read request; retrieving the data from the blockchain identified by the read request; throwing an event indicating the user has permission to read the data identified by the read request and returning as part of the thrown event, the data retrieved from the blockchain; and returning the data retrieved from the blockchain to the user in fulfillment of the read request. 摘要： To resolve a conflict between CMIS secondary types and certain ECM features such as content server categories, and allow the underlying ECM system to be fully CMIS-compliant, an ECM-independent ETL tool comprising a CMIS-compliant, repository-specific connector is provided. Operating on an integration services server at an integration tier between an application tier and a storage tier where the repository resides, the connector is particular configured to support CMIS secondary types and specific to the repository. On startup, the connector can import any category definition from the repository. The category definition contains properties associated with a category in the repository. When the category is attached to a document, the properties are viewable via a special category object type and a category identifier for the category. Any application can be adapted to leverage the ECM-independent ETL tool disclosed herein.
